No. Not really, considering he's based on magic, I expected him to have some pretty cool foes. Basically they just made all the powerful magical beings his foes. Baron Mordo is his magical foil & Dormammu is a magical conquer. They are classic villain archetypes.

The Living Tribunal ( Included for his cool look and design! I realize he is part of the cosmic balance and not a true villain.) 2.Eternity ( Same as living tribunal. Incredible artistic design by Steve Ditko of a being whose body is the universe!) Again I realize he's beyond good or evil and is not a rogue! I would say that there are stories where the Living Tribunal and Eternity are adversaries to Dr. Strange. 1. The Dread Dormamu! (Sorry if I misspelled)

Define "greatest villain". If we're talking his arch enemy, I'd definitely put Mordo at number one. But if the list is more based on power and infamy, then Dormammu EASILY makes the number one spot. I'd argue that there's more of a rivalry between Doc and Mordo, whereas Dormammu poses the biggest threat towards him. But it just depends on what you guys mean by "greatest".

If you can cope with 1960's pace and dialogue, the first Essential Doctor Strange is a really good read. He had a bit of a dip in quality, then got good again when Steve Englehart started writing the scripts.

Gianispil Pilarinos Kaecilus isn't that big in the comics. He normally plays second fiddle to Baron Mordu.

He's a VERY minor character in the comics. I honestly think they should have swapped his and Mordo's roles, cuz it would have been much closer to the comics if they would've done that. That's my only complaint with the movie honestly, and even then it's just a nitpick. Otherwise the movie was perfect!
