I love this channel because it features domestic and foreign cars that I haven't seen since I was a kid. That means a lot to me mostly because I don't exactly have an affinity for computers with exhaust systems that are styled like laxatives or come off more looking like mobile, bubbly land whales. Combustion just rocks.

i could be wrong, but the countaches that were shown were built in the 80s, im pretty sure they were the anniversairy models with the body kit, i think they were the only ones with that wing. again i could be wrong please correct me if i am. but this video was great i love your videos so much, theyre perfect i get to look at all my favorite cars and get the specs and i get to hear the engine and watch it drive real quick. you make sure you include as much as you can in the couple seconds for each car and you do it just the right way. these videos are addicting, keep making them!! i have a suggestion too though and its not even a bug deal, but can you include the weight for all of the cars, maybe you do but i dont remember seeing wieght, but i amvlooking at the cars the whole time tbh. but anyway keep it up!!!!!! 10/10

@mikearias92584 жыл бұрын
@Tropic Lightning Not true. The car could have used a little more development in 1971 when it was brought out...of course most first year cars are riddled with problems. By 1973, those problems were pretty much solved and the 1973-74 Panteras were exceptional sports cars ---- for their time. Yes, you can get a specialist to "upgrade" it with better brakes (you don't need a specialist to put on Wilwood brakes), better air conditioning and add slightly more camber and possible better shocks (adjustable) and then like any other car you need someone who can fine tune all the little changes. Jay was right, with a few little changes here and there is would make a great car for today. But, that can be said about any 1970's sports car.
@HiNRGboy Жыл бұрын
My two favorites here are the M1 and the Pantera, very cool cars. Those for me at least stand out the most :) 3rd I think would be the Aston Martin, and then I dunno, the Bora maybe.

Good list, even if the Miura was grandfathered in from the 1960s in which it was launched. My favourite is the Maserati Khamsin. Like the Miura, it's said it was a bit of a brute to drive and the front got very light at speeds over 120 or so. With those gorgeous upswept ends and glass rear panel, who cares?

Stratos is just stratospheric ! What a look ! Not so sophisticated, but it's one of those cars, like the Austin mini, that came from a flash of genius. No room for confusion, at the first look you know who it is. A genuine masterpiece !

Restored a few 70s lancias and the Stratosphere was always my wet dream followed by the 037. But then again, I'd be dead already. Saw a Stratos race and talked to the driver. If I understood him, he said driving it was like having a fight with your ex-wife.

Some nice cars on here, but some glaring omissions. Lambo Espada, Ferrari BB12 Boxer, Ferrari Daytona, Porsche 911 Turbo (930), Porsche 928, Maserati Merak, De Tomaso Mangusta, the Lotus Esprit, Alfa Montreal to name a few, and the Stratos? Ralley Car, with very few available to consumers.

@paulw.96695 жыл бұрын
I agree, I'd have the original 365bb on par with the Muira in looks, different but equal, but by the time the 512bb came along the Miura was no longer in production so the Ferrari was competing with the Countach which was a bit like chalk versus cheese. I think the Countach is ugly but what am I to know.

Ahh, such beauties, but let's give credit where its due: more than half of these iconic lovelies owe their essential design concepts to one car--an American. Though it wasn't a production car and doesn't belong in this video list, the 1964 Ford GT40 launched an era of design that lasted for decades. And though the Euros (especially Italia) truly rule the exotic car landscape, forget about it with Shelby, Lunn, Broadley, and the the boys....

Miura is timeless, but one car not on this list that can match it's looks and was still in production during the early 70's was the Maserati Ghibli. Sad that Maserati went back to the Ghibli name a couple of times since then, but the original is off the charts! In fact, I guess I am showing my bias, but every Maserati GT in the 70's was incredible- Merak, Bora, Indy & Khamsin!

Soon modern supercars will also be driving themselves. But they move forward very fast! Great times we live in!

That was considered fast in the 70s. I had a 1976 car that took 18.6 seconds to 60.
