That thing about humans powering Gods would be very weird, since Kratos doesn't get weaker after Zeus kills Sparta. In fact he gets stronger after the last Spartan dies, or it would be a major retcon, since Atlas said that the battle between the Titans and Gods is what shaped the mortal realm. It was just speculation from Spartan officers. In practice we have seen that the destruction of Athens didnt weaken Athena, nor did the sinking of Atlantis diminish Poseidon. It is established that worship through prayers and sacrifices certainly appeases the Gods, maybe it adds some power but loosing that worship isnt critical.

At the end of ragnarok I felt that Loki should be its new protagonist, or maybe to a spin-off; since kratos story reached a satisfying ending. I've since thought that since the gow focuses in family dynamics, it could be interesting to see Loki having a complicated relationship himself. Imagine Aphrodite having a child with Kratos , a child that grew learning bout his exploits and bloody reputation; a misunderstanding of what Kratos stands for and with his absence learned to idolize him. Or maybe the opposite . Maybe the child detests Kratos for what he did to greece, its gods and its people . He/She could be a great Rival / Villain to contrast Loki.

Do we KNOW that Atreus doesn't know that Kratos killed his first family? Mimir seems to know and we don't see that conversation happen. Kratos tells Freya which we do see happen in ragnarok. Atreus might not know but I don't remember there being anything the says for sure that he either does or doesn't.

My personal theory is that Kratos will sneak back to Greece to see if it has truly recovered after what happened and he will find the Roman empire now in control of Greece while it's ruled by the Roman gods while the remaining Greek gods have either been killed, been given positions throughout their pantheon or just left the country to explore the world. That last one was actually speculated to have been the fate of Artemis who left Olympus as soon as she saw what was happening to Zeus. It's possible that despite not showing hostility Kratos might get into a fight with some of the Roman gods out of a sense of paranoia because of what he did to their Greek counterparts.

I feel like if calliope ever came back. She would be an antagonist likely working with athena or some other greek god to find and have her revenge on kratos, literally have her in the same position that kratos was in during the greek saga. When you think about it, a lot that has happened to calliope also happened to kratos. -Both were abandoned and even killed by their father(albet by accident in calliopes case, and Kratos came back to life thanks to the titans) -Death of a loved one at their fathers hands. Lysandra in calliopes case and Deimos in Kratos case. I honestly think the idea of calliope coming back as an antagonist who seeks to kill kratos out of revenge like kratos did with zeus would be a really nice concept in a future god of war game. She not only could be the dark reflection of atreus and what he could have turned into if kratos had not changed, but also be an example of the continued cycle of the child killing or fighting their father. I like the idea of returning to Greece and meeting these characters again and maybe getting some back story on what happened after Kratos left. How the reconstruction started. But I do have a theory as to how Greece was able to be rebuilt after it's cataclysmic fall. One Kratos didn't only give Hope back to humans but to the remaining gods who were still alive. Because like Athena said "They know not what to do with it." Not just indicating Humans. And how exactly did they stop all the cataclysmic destruction? The remaining gods and goddess I think had to take on new roles in order to stop the elements. Such as Triton receding the Sea back to it's original borders with the land and Apollo becoming the new Sun god. Artimas becoming the new Messenger god and so on and so forth. But one goddess decides to take things to a whole new level. Aphrodite becomes the new Queen of the Olympus. She helps in ording the surviving gods into their new roles and in order to help the human race decides that she and other goddesses would mate with human males to make many demigods. And basically make a new race of Demigods whose numbers rise in the hundreds to thousands. Think of Percy Jackson lol. And also having the other gods share knowledge with the demigods. So now they could rebuild Greece in a matter of a few decades rather than a few centuries it would take for regular humans. And this in turn would make Aphrodite the absolute ruler and the villainess for the next GOW

@@ultraviolet540 True Artemis did do that. But think about how vein Aphrodite is as the goddess of love. She literally gets jealous of all other women who are said to be more beautiful than she is. She almost vanished because people started to worship a mortal who was said to be more beautiful than her. She can do what other gods can do, but she's more petty and less creative when it comes to punishments against others. Now think of all of Greece worshiping her as the Queen of Olympus since she helped "rebuild" and that her offsprings of demigods worshiping her. That kind of power and admiration going to her head.

After unlocking one of the phone number, Kratos shows that Ares' soul is being tortured in secret vault in Kratos' throne room. This could lead to so many possibilities, like Ares being freed and wander as a ghost. Also, Lahkesis and Atropos are still alive, plotting revenge on Kratos, as stated by Cory. Could this happen?

Typhon in GoW has a very similar background as in mythology as seen in the Novel. He challenged Olympus by himself after his brothers the Giants got all killed by Zeus. Even tho the game itself should have made more effort to that effect instead of portraying him as just another Titan.

Another idea for Artemis could be that she went into hiding in egyot during Kratos rampage. Like the greek gods did, when Typhon rocked up. If they decide to go to egypt next, it may be a cool reveal that Bastet is Artemis (the greeks actually explained the egypt gods that way, so it may be a nod to that).

I have a fanfictiony idea for the next game. Basically the last 2 games were very much about Fatherhood. I think the next one should be about Brotherhood and the main Villain is a hereto unknown son of Kratos via his banging Aphrodite. This son is seeking vengeance against Kratos for what he see's is Kratos destroying Olympus and abandoning him and his mother. He's being manipulated by the Spirit of Athena and he is initially introduced as a Shadowy powerful enemy calling himself Phobos and he has the Blade of Olympus. But the Brotherhood aspect comes from Atreus side of the game in which Atreus, going by Loki, meets and unknowingly befriends his brother who, while with Atreus goes by Eros. They become good friends and eventually, about halfway through, encounter Kratos and Eros starts to struggle to handle this new friend is his brother and he is torn between being Eros, who was the son his mother loved and Phobos, the man who wants to kill Kratos. It ultimately ends with him struggling between who Kratos is now and who he was tricked into believing he was and he accidentally kills Kratos. But Kratos having grown, refuses to forsake his unknown son, forgives him and urges Atreus and Eros to take care of each other. And this builds up Athena as the villain going forward in future games with Atreus and Eros being the new main playable characters. Atreus gets his mothers Axe and Eros the Draupnir Spear. The Blades stay with Kratos, with him making his sons promise to leave them with him and never to take them up as it would curse them. Like I said, super fanfictiony, but I think the theme of brotherhood would be a good one and Kratos ultimately dying by the hand of his son, but not letting said son suffer the grief of the accident and urging him to be better would fit well with the path Kratos has been on in the previous games.

They could have Calliope as a trained hunter/warrior as who better to kill kratos than his daughter. Following the Greek tradition of children killing their parents and kratos being not able to kill his daughter. He could find himself in the same position, Freya was in in GOW2018 with either atreus or freya saving him.

It'd be cool if Kratos came back to Greece, and during the time he was gone, Greece rebuilt and was taken over by the Romans, and the greek gods that remained changed their names to the Roman ones, with new gods replacing the ones Kratos killed. A new Zeus in the form of Jupiter.

Possible: Kratos, now the God of Hope, Freya, Goddess of the Vanir and Valkryie Queen, with Mimir, and Týr are visited by other Pantheon or are invited to a Councel of Gods. We see more Gods and Goddesses and many know of Kratos, as the God-Killer, and are taken aback that he's a God (again), but also a God of Hope. Back and forth ensues, and who's there to make matters worse - Athena building against Kratos changes and credit, and telling the other Gods (especially Gods of War, Wisdom, and king of Gods [like RA]) to distrust Kratos. "He will always be the Ghost of Sparta!"

Part of me expected to see Athena in Ragnarok being allied with Odin to give him knowledge of Kratos and possibly manipulate events yet again to kill the Norse Pantheon and have her replace them as their one true god. It also would have proven beyond any doubt that she was in fact real during the events of God of War 3 and not a manifestation of Kratos' guilt over killing her.

There are a characters no one talks about its kratos previous family not just his wife and daughter but also his brother and mother the reason i say this is because we don't know what happened to them after they died we know what happened to his daughter but we don't know about his wife and brother and for his mother in god of war 3 when we get to the underworld we find different notes on the floor that belongs to tortured souls one belongs to the boat captin other belongs to calliope but more importantly one that belongs to mother who talks about her son how she failed him and how death comes to anyone come closer to here son including his wife his child and his brother and in the note she asks hades to punich her in place of her son this note clearly belongs to kratos mother and it is the first ester egg that referenced god of war ghost of sparta in god of war 3

I like the idea of Atreus find Artemis (the lady spinhx version) wounded, then treat her. In every interaction we got bonding and find out She is outer God and in mission to find her ex-lover and give a proper punishment to him for his deeds and when Atreus ask about her ex- lover, maybe he could help her. She said, " he was God of war in our place, his is name is Kratos" Atreus got silenced. Artemis said, " You know him, do you?"
