Ecamm gave me a message today that said that I could not bring in more than four guests. Do I have to manually switch this functionality on (for the guests)?

Pls, objectively, how does Ecamm compare to Melon app when it comes to guests? Thanks

Hi Tony, I've never used Melon, so can not really give a full comparison. One thing I can say that is a difference is that Ecamm is an app that sits on your computer and Melon is a web based app. There are pros and cons to both appraches. I think Ecamm is more versatile in terms of the layouts you can create for your scenes, but all of the processing is done on your computer. Therefore, the more guests you have on, the more bandwidth you will require to receive those feeds.. Similarly if you are multi streaming then you'll also need to have the bandwidth to handle all of that as well. The benefit of a service like Melon, Restream, Stream Yard etc... is that the 'heavy lifting' in terms of bandwidth and processing is handled on the server side rather than the client side.
