Regarding your idea of blowing the water back into the bladder before drinking; I would suggest that you do that after you finish drinking. Then while you ride, there's air in the exposed line and not water collecting heat. Allowing water in the line to heat up will only warm the water in the bladder when you blow it back in.

Love the hacks. Patches: put glue on both the tube and the bit of old tube you're using for the patch then let dry to tacky and stick together without moving. The patch in the factory is the same material, pre prepared with the glue but hermetically sealed to prevent drying out. You're just replicating the same thing. Cleaning the tube: important. You need to remove any crap and oxydised rubber so you don't stick patch to crap.

CamelBack hack: To prep for your next ride, throw your half full CamelBack bladder in your freezer. First blow air into it and place it with the filler cap on top so you don't freeze the cap on. The morning if your ride, just add water. By the time you reach the trailhead enough of the ice will have melted to allow liquid into the drinking tube. You'll have ice water & you'll be keeping your back cool during the ride. BONUS HACK: After the ride, throw the bladder back in the freezer to prevent slime from growing in it.🤙🏾

Been saying this for years. Even better than dish soap on your bike, bodywash is even better. You can use the cheapest stuff, and it still works great. The reason behind it is that dish soap is designed to break down grease, body wash is not. It is also gentle enough for the skin so it will do a good job getting rid of dirt and grime, but won't do anything to bearing grease. The bonus is that if you're blessed to have bike washes at your trailhead, you can also use it to clean up before you head to the pub for some post ride food and brew. I am not strictly advising against dish soap, but I believe body wash is a better option because it is dual purpose, and gentler on seals and places where grease is the barrier like pivots etc.

Blowing the water back into the bladder after you've finished drinking means that it doesn't get warm in the first place. Blow it in after you finish your sip. Other than that some pretty decent hacks

Remember when Seth used to live in Miami but left just early enough that it wouldn't seem suspicious that he left in time to miss hurricane Irma I think that something is very fishy could seth be apart of the illuminati?

"This is a hack that could get you out of a pickle" Who carries a sponge with them on the trail? Lol. Looks like a good trick though

You could be prepping for a ride at a bro's house and no time to drop by a bike shop.

Buy a sponge and cut strips off of it, then put them in a tiny bag and store it in your handlebars. Done. You don't need to carry the sponge with you.
