My husband and I are full time RVers who still work. We just upgraded to a larger fridge/freezer and I have been so excited to make these! My kitchen smelled fabulous this morning assembling all of the meals. I cannot wait to cook all of these! In fact, the citrus chicken smelled so good while putting it together that it isn’t even going in the freezer. We are having it tonight! Thank you for sharing these recipes.

I just joined! I think your program with healthy and simple prep/meals for busy families is amazing. My children are now grown, out of college and married and it's now just my husband and I.....I STILL want to save time and cook good healthy meals! It's a good idea. Very frugal very quick however I'm alone and to do six meals at onceAnd dividing it into six meals doesn't sound reasonable. Also you should wash your cutting board in your knife between different meals.

Hi, looks intriguing. Been trying to eat healthier with less trouble. I'll give these a try. BUT I am wondering what is going on under your counter. Not sure if you are going through that receptacle and recycling, but the bag from the corn that you tossed can easily be rinsed and reused! And the cuts you did of the fats from the meats, do you have any pets that you can give this waste to? Or maybe make a homemade soup broth. A bit astounding how much of the meat gets cut with the fat and tossed into the trash. But, then again, I'm sure you already conserving!! Happy cooking!

I love this idea. And very interested but would like to see ingredients that are not canned. Can we use lentils instead of canned beans? Flash frozen fish, chic ju en etc instead of fresh? And when u use sauces like shsrracha maybe add the ingredients so we can add ingredients from scratch? So many products have sugar and preservatives added. Thank you!!

if you add lentils youd need to add more liquid. if you do not care for canned beans, you can batch cook beans and freeze them in sandwich plastic bags, thats about equal serving size as a can 😊

They're edible pretty much any duration of time, but they can lose texture and taste after about 3 months in ziploc or 6-8 months if vaccuum sealed.

Not to be rude ..but you mentioned taking the meat out separately to avoid cross contamination ..only to use the same knife, cutting board and not wash the chicken residue off hands and surfaces. I'm loving these meals and I will be more conscious of cross contamination...but newbies watching may do as you are doing and may get sick..ijs

Cross contamination is not a concern from meat to meat when it is all being cooked. The concern is from meat to vegetables, etc., that are not being cooked, or are not being cooked to well done. Using a knife on beef after chicken is not a concern if both are being cooked to well done.

Can these recipes go into the crock pot frozen or does it need to be thawed first? I was told you shouldn't put frozen raw meat in a crock pot. Your thoughts?

You're right! The chicken would not become hot enough to kill all of the bacteria in a crockpot if it's put in there frozen.

Some frozen chicken pieces are dipped in water and fast frozen. Those will make your dish turn out a bit watered down.
