Good call on leveling it out! Those style pumps work awesome but if you have a small air compressor it works even better. You should be able to pull all the oil out with just a few pumps.

You think mine wasn't level? I only pulled out 1.6 quarts out, accidently out in 3 quarts and filled the reservoir all the way up

@@wed3k I'd definitely pull the oil out if you overfilled it. The TR1 holds about 4 quarts of oil so I'd be concerned about damaging your ski. You'll never get all the oil out for a change, if that bothers you definitely put in a bit of cheap sacrificial oil to help flush out the old oil and crank the engine DO NOT START IT. I've done this on my SeaDoo for years and have had no issues. Once you start draining the ski just keep checking your dipstick until you get within the operational margins, or just pull all of it and fill it again slowly!

FYI...the owners manual does not call for the filter to be changed at the ten...just the oil.

What number oil filter are you using?

Its so incredibly easy and cheap to replace the filter, theres absolutely no downside to doing so.

@@Yamaboy32 I assume you got your answer in the past year, but for anyone in the future I've been using "KN-204-1" without issue. It has a 17mm nut on the top of it to make installation and removal easy. Remember it only needs to be hand tight!

@@badm0t0rf1ng3r the manual does not call for it, and if you do, the warranty will be void for not following the guidance as detailed by the machine maker
