That will be unforgettable! I was thinking about taking the bus into Seoul and the train back to Incheon. This will help me to remember to get the card for the train before I leave the airport. Thanks!!

Hi! Regarding the free transit tour, I saw on their website that they offer a 9 AM to 2 PM tour, but I have a connecting flight at 4 PM. I'm curious if the tours are usually on time and if l'll make it back in time, considering the potential lines at immigration. Would you recommend taking the risk? Thanks!

Good question! I've heard that these free transit tours do run on time (some would say it feels rushed for the 5hr tours) - they understand that they need to get people back. Assuming that you get back to the airport at exactly 2pm, then I think you'll be fine doing the tour. You can also schedule the tour in advance, and once you get there to the check-in booth, you can ask them and get their suggestions if you'll have enough time hope this helps! thanks for watching and safe travels - trizzy

Hi, I have a question regarding when you exit the airport and re-enter. When you go through immigration to exit the airport what do you have to show? Also when you come back to the airport what do they check? I have a 13 hr layover and I’m not certain I’ll have a ticket for my connecting flight to show at the passport control /immigration counters. I’m assuming my connecting ticket isn’t available due to the long layover where my gate is not determined. Is an itinerary and flight details good enough to show?

Hi Kimberly, I don't recall much interaction with immigration. I handed just my passport to them and if they were to ask me questions or require any docs, I would be ready to answer and hand anything over. If you're able to online check-in for your connecting flight, you should be able to show that to them, or even your flight booking confirmation... print a physical copy just in case wifi or phone reception isn't stable. When coming back to the airport, if you haven't checked-in to your connecting flight, you'll have to go to the counter to check-in. they'll ask for your passport. and you normally just go thru security similar to other airports ie have your passport and boarding pass out, laptop in the bin, no large liquids, , etc... Hope this makes sense! Have a fun layover. -Trizzy

Hello dear I'm Ravi from India, i asking you one thing, during the layover 10hrs you are out the airport and then how can you received the Transit visa so pls tell me because I'm going to the Canada via South Korea. Please give some information. Thanks🙏🙏

Hi Ravi, i believe you can apply for a visa on this site - www.visaforkorea-ce.com/apply-visa.html according to a few google research, it shows that for India passport holders will need a single entry visa if you're exiting the airport. That website should give you a step by step process and all the documents they require. Hope this helps. Have fun on your trip!

How long did it take to leave the airport and return through immigration/security. I have a 9 hour layover and I’m wondering if it’s worth it to leave or not.

Hi! sorry for the delayed response. The city of Seoul is pretty far from the Incheon airport. After we got off the plane, it took us about 20-30 minutes to get to the luggage storage... this isn't bad but it also depends on the time you arrive ( we arrived in the morning so it didn't seem too busy). With the bus going to the city from the airport, took us an hr and half. since we took an uber back to the airport, it was an hr - and we recommend arriving back to the airport with at least 2 hrs to spare before your next flight. if you're nervous about going into the city due to how far it is, check out a nearby korean spa - Cimer ... it's closeby the airport. It was our backup plan. hope this helps. safe travels!! - Trizzy
