yellow seats are for disable or elderly person not just for elderly. If you can't walk or something like that you can use that seat. It is 교통약자석 in Korean. and also pink seats are for pregnant woman.

Aww thank you so much! But oooof thats a tough one - if you’re talking cash vs card, i would only bring maybe like $100-$150usd equivalent of cash (and even then, it might be surplus) since cafes will most likely take card. But if you’re talking budget, thats really up to the individual. I spent a range of $10-$15usd for a drink+dessert at cafes during my trip. I hope that was helpful? 😅

I definitely agree! But i think it is also wise to have some cash before you start going around the city. If you plan on exchanging a large sum of cash, i would also definitely recommend a kiosk or a local currency exchange station for better rates! Thanks for pointing this clarification out 😊

I'll be there from the 8th to the 25th but I doubt we'll see each other, anyway seeing this as i am traveling alone is comforting, I'll most definitely try and engage with fellow travellers / locals during my stay

Thank you so much for the video! Very informative! My brother and I just bought our tickets yesterday!! We leave for South Korea on the 18th of April. We are super stoked!! We’ve been wanting to do this for 3 years now. The only thing I’m worried about is not wanting to leave 😅 Thank you again!!

Thank you for this video!!! Question regarding public transport, mainly metro/bus, around how much is the fare price typically?
@AdventuresofAwkwardAmy
@AdventuresofAwkwardAmy Жыл бұрын
It depends on the line you’re taking and type of bus, but it ranges from like 500won to 1500won. Tmoney cards usually provide like a 100won discount on the fares

Thank you so much for this video. It was very helpful.. Ive heard of people bringing an empty piece of luggage when they travel to put all their shopping items in it. Or they just bring a couple of items and shop for everything when they get their.

Me too, I got extra side dishes and soup in A Korean and Chinese restaurants there.. They also gave me a little discount because I paid in cash .. I love Korean vendors and restaurant owners and staff . They are so friendly and kind 🥰

Hello Amy! Thank you for your awesome videos. 1 question is it ok to do buskering in Seoul. Something like maybe playing guitar on the streets?
@AdventuresofAwkwardAmy

There’s definitely a lot of busking around hongdae and the hangang parks, but im not sure if they have to get permits or rent the locations, etc

Unfortunately i don’t know too much about actually moving to korea cuz i’ve never lived there 🙈 some creators that might be helpful you can check out are megan osten (she’s currently living in seoul and has a bunch of really informative videos), thruhelenslens (she moved to korea for language studies for a year last year, not sure if she has any videos on the actual process though), or katie cung (she’s also in korea for work study right now but again, not sure if she posted anything in particular about the process)

Hi! Im going to Seoul this December. Any tips on what to expect when going on December, like weather, stores hour operations etc. Thankyou!!
@AdventuresofAwkwardAmy
@AdventuresofAwkwardAmy Жыл бұрын
It will be COLD in december, but also be prepared for the subway to blast you with heat the moment you get on. For store hours, check naver or the store ig for the most updated. A lot of shops are mom & pop shops so their hours can change due to the owner having something going on. You just never know 🤷🏻‍♀️ Check out the christmas installations cuz they like to go all out at malls and stuff for the holidays hehe
