Nice catches mate. With the tarps lower your rod tip to the water when they jump. They have hard mouthes so always going to be tricky but this will help with pulling hooks when they jump. Same applies with all jumping fish really Barra etc

Cheers mate 👌🏼 I tend to find that spending that little bit extra is worth it if you’re looking for a bait caster combo. I run a shimano curado 150HG on a 6’ concept 13 rod rated for 12-20lb but if you’re looking for a reliable combo straight out the store you can’t really go wrong with the shimano curado/raider combo, good value for money for sure 👌🏼👌🏼
