Hi Eddy , I use the mega bus going from Glasgow to Liverpool all the time , they all have a tray and ports to charge your phone & a toilet , far cheaper than the trains but your arse goes dead by the time you get off 🤣

I'm quite used to living in Eddy's fridge now ... its a bit cold and dark in here but its very clean and there's always plenty of bottled water. Shout out to Chris the coach driver for looking after our Eddy on his mega journey ... 👍

Longest coach journey I ever did was when I was 17 and it clocked in at 48 hours...when it should have been under 30... We got a lift into Glasgow (1 hour), then got a coach as part of a holiday package that took us to Leicester where all this company's coaches were waiting. People all swapped on to the buses going to their destinations and eventually it was only our coach left, and it wouldn't start. About an hour later we were on our way to Dover... We got to Dover and the bus broke down again. We were stuck at Dover for hours and just made it on the last ferry after our bus was repaired. By early morning we'd made it to the south of France where we stopped at the most basic 'service station' I've ever seen - a brick building with 2 squat toilets and a broken vending machine... this time our bus stopped and decided it wouldn't start again. One a Sunday, in the literal middle of nowhere (there wasn't even a building anywhere in sight). Between the company being unable to find a local bus driver willing to help us on Sunday, and a literal pile up on the motorway, we were stuck there for 10 hours. One family on the bus ate all the food the holiday company had for sale, they were literally eating 3 and 4 hamburgers each!! By early evening the replacement coach came through and it was torrential rain so I decided to help the holiday reps move everyones' suitcases and got soaked to the bone. Several hours later we made it to our resort on the Costa Brava... and as we got to our hotel, the front left wheel of the bus literally fell off. I wish I was joking!! Thankfully we were only doing about 10 mph but minutes earlier we'd been on the motorway!! The bus came to a stop on the pavement, propped up by a wall. Mercifully we were able to retrieve our bags and get to the hotel where the hotel staff had stayed up late to make sure we had some food (we were sooo hungry). Lots of other people on the coach had much further to travel and they were giving the rep from our hotel hell when it wasn't his fault, the guy was the same age as me so just a kid basically! Rather weirdly I'd been in a bus crash 6 weeks before this when a drunk driver pulled out in front of my school bus (no one was injured, but the car and the bus were both write-offs). I wish this had been during the social media age, documenting this shambles would have kept me entertained!!

@Eddy Cheese . The joys of overnight bus travel . Back in the day i've done around 300 of these from Glasgow to London and back , and the coaches weren't as good as these . If you take the right steps they become easier . (1) Grab 3 or 4 hours kip before you get your bus . (2) Take a infatable pillow with you . (3) If you can't sleep make sure you have something to occupy your mind ie' a book or a laptop with movies to watch or edit your video's . (4) Maybe this should have been No.1 always grab the back seat to use as a bed . What gets me is if you were in Edinburgh the day before why did you go back to Birmingham ? You should have gone from Edinburgh to Dundee and found a hostel or B&B for the night .

@@Eddycheeee Sorry Eddie i must have picked it up wrong i thought you were in Edinburgh on the Saturday . On a personal note you should maybe slow down a wee bit you don't want to burn out . take a week or two off from travelling & relax , spend some time with the girlfriend & family . We all love your video's but we don't want to see them at the expence of your health . What is your email address ? Maybe in the future if when your back in Glasgow we'll drive you about some locations you've not seen yet . especially all the still game locations .

That’s some bus journey I couldn’t do that as I can’t sleep when moving, the last time I had a long journey was a train from Edinburgh to Austria with sleepers etc even for days after it you could feel the motion of the train 😂 You looked shattered when you arrived at Glasgow. You’re a glutton for punishment if you had just flew back from Edinburgh the night before. I suppose you’re young enough to cope. 🤣👍

You're like my mum with your toilet anxiety xD You could get a power bank for your phone if you're anxious about charging it. I think almost all coaches have toilets these days; National Express does. If a coach looks like it was built after 1990 it probably has a toilet. I love seeing you getting recognised!

I've done a similar length journey many times lad, be doing it again for Christmas, it's a bugger all right, should have got off at the services and grabbed a coffee or food, really helps break the monotony, I usually grab a couple magazines or a book for the journey.
