I played TLoU in 2013 and it became instantly one of the best games I've ever played. After years and with part 2, wich is also a masterpiece, i returned to the first part an it charged to a total different game for me. Today i raise a little girl without a mother, she is 8 years old. That game hits different now

I don't think a game has emotionally carried me as much as the last of us, its one of the first pieces of media to ever make me cry and it did it within the first 20 minutes of me picking up the controller, its truly an artpiece and deserves the recognition its getting especially with the new show bringing it to older audiences. Anybody can relate with the story of ellie and joel as individuals and a pair and its truly one of the most human games I've played ever. My partner and I are playing through the game together I've beaten the game a good 15 times over the years and have my fair share of hours on the multiplayer but they're experiencing the game for the very first time, they know nothing about it going into it and I cant wait to see their reaction to some of the later parts

I remember playing the first one achieving platinum on ps4 I miss those memories… just something about the music, and the story makes you feel like you’re actually in the game. Than when the second game came, I had the opportunity of playing it with my fiancée, and introducing him to TLOU, what An amazing experience…. This game will always be apart of me.

This game was one of those rare accomplishments, in which everything came together perfectly. I still go back and replay it frequently. I can hear just a note or two from any part of the soundtrack and instantly recognize it. And replaying it is like catching up with old friends. I wish the sequel could have been of the same caliber, instead of just a vehicle to push a bunch of political agendas.

Its kinda sad that such a moment passes so briefly and on to the next. Looking back wishing you could experience it for the first time again…. But knowing you cant. This is literally the story of life. We experience something good/bad/strange/exciting and then it passes and remains just a memory and will never ever happen again. Just think about that for a second. Really think about it…. We will never ever relive a moment again with the same emotions we had in that moment. Kinda sad really. Life is just a multitude of moments passing us by. A constant memory. Its as if all there is is a memory and nothing else. Time will surely pass and each and every one of us will be nothing but a memory to those who loved us. 100 years will pass and the only memory of us that will remain will be the echoes of voices flowing throughout the universe for all eternity. What is the point of any of it? Just to procreate to repeat the process for all eternity or until we are extinct? Well whatever reason it all has, I’m still glad i have had the chance to experience it. It is an absolute stunning world 🌍 Shame we are too immature as a race to nurture Earth and ourselves as a family. Maybe one day ☝🏻🌍

@@mikes5637 I dont think its excellent. Graphics yes, animations yes, but thats not what defined the series anyway. The story and the characters are the driving factors and forcing characters on you you have no intrest in, isnt the way. I dont need to know everyones motivation why he or she keeps doing things. I dont need to undersstand backgrounds or else. I dont need to know if someone can be good in other parts and tries to help, as for sure everyone has its motives. But that doesent mean i have to like or identify with that person. And just because its a Naughty Dog game it doesent mean its a masterpiece. Everyone can make their own decision on that and it would be delusional to think that the second game did not split the fan base as the opinions differ a lot about it.

But now Ellie felt like gouging out her own eyes every time the cat's eyes rolled from side to side every second (literally). It was when considering shooting that shit with the gun kept on her nightstand, when the girl heard three knocks on her door. -Ellie? She supports her face in one of her hands, distracted : - she's not here! - _Ohh, really? Damn... have you seen her? Brown hair, green eyes..._ - She could hear Joel's voice from outside. Ellie She didn't need to see him to know he was raising his eyebrows and crossing his arms. - _may look adorable but sounds like a sailor._ -She seems badass. - Did I already said humble? - She watches as the door opens a little and Joel comes inside and site next to her at the bay window , bringing the smell of pine and sandalwood with him. Ellie loves this smell. And she wouldn't say out loud, but when Joel is out of Jackson with Tommy or the patrol, she would take one of his jackets and cover herself. Before he comes, she would put back in the same place without being noticed. The man take the comic off her lap - _Savage Starlight_ again? - Yeah... jugdy. - I ain't judging, kiddo. I'm gonna read someday - She raises one of her eyebrows. - I'm serious. The girl shrugs, and they both went silent, seeing rain drops slide by the glass. That's something they both like. There's no need of saying anything, the company It's enough sometimes. Joel It's the first to break silence - how do you feel about here? Ellie plays with one of the buttons on her coat. They moved to Jackson two months ago, and now they're living close to the other houses and a cemetery. Joel is living in the main house, and they both agreed she would live in the garage. At first, she thought It would be quite lonely but considering she ends up eating in his house everytime of the day and Joel visits her without any apparent excuse, It's like the same house. - I like here. You said It's like what the world was before... You know... All The shit happens. You remember that? - He agrees with a head gesture, she continues. - It feels weird... - Living like this after struggling to survive for so long? - Ellie looks at the man's face. His eyes looked exhausted and his scarred hands ran through his beard. - I've been in this cave for so many years It's like I forgot the man I was before all this. Joel looks at Ellie's arm, where a bite scar It's visible. Poor kid have to use long sleeve shirts or coats even when It's hot outside. He and Tommy discussed the Idea of a tattoo. Younger Miller said her new friends would notice her covered arms and he also said something about "seeing It on accident" , and Joel thought Ellie should wait till sixteen to do It. On the other hand, the girl didn't seem to think the idea of a needle drawing into her arm as a problem. She even said something about a spaceship or something in flames being "fucking cool". Joel tried to find a good side in all this, but all he sees in moments like this is a child in a dead world, along with a broken man trying to figure out how to gather his shards. Miller is interrupted from your mind by the sensation of a warm skin touching against his fingers. Joel looks up in time to see those two green immensities looking deep in his eyes. Only God knew the things Joel would do for them. _Ellie could have his heart, and he would break it for her._ The girl smiles, her freckles crinkle when she turns up her nose: - but It seems like a good chance too. A new chance after all of that. No more dog days, right Joel? - She gives him an encouraging and optmistic look, and Joel wonders if she's doing this more for him than for herself. Later, he would lead a Patrol outside Jackson (but before, making sure to leave one of his most used Jackets in some easy place to find). Still feeling the pressure of their joined hands, he gives his best smile in response. The tips of her lips seemed to widen a little more as he repeated her words: - No more dog days.
