Alternative title: 10 iconic spots that were either extremely overpowered or absolutely garbage and unused and were removed from Counter Strike. For real, these places may be close to our hearts for nostalgia reasons, but gameplay wise, they're crazy. The current maps are miles ahead in that regard. Also, let's not forget the time when the newer version of Nuke in CS:GO had a catwalk going all the way to silo. One such place that was omitted here and is very close to my heart is the so called toxic room in the early versions of CS:GOs Nuke. Those were the times when I got into the game, it was so much fun. A couple more honorable mentions: CS 1.6 Inferno had this sort of mini pit with a bridge that you could hide under near B site (now A site). Cobblestone had a few different iconic spots even just in CS:GO (the map has changed so much, I can't even tell you which spots have remained and which are now gone). Train used to have two heavens, one on either side of A site, one was removed in the newer CS:GO remake.
