I have a Pentel graph gear 500 mechanical pencil that I use constantly. Not sure why I picked up that specific one but I like it. The eraser I love is my sumo grip retractable eraser. Because it’s long, it’s easier to hold while I erase. Hope that helps!

I bought the black and white 2 pack to try them - I really like them. Maybe it's because I used the white over some brown,non-Sharpie brand water based marker, but it turned a bit off-white on one of my test pieces. It wasn't an issue but just thought I'd give others a bit of a head's up just in case.

These look super opaque! Are they are acrylic? I'm guessing they have to be to show up on top of the black but it doesn't seem like it's quite as thick as normal paint markers. Also just want to say thanks for recommending the Pentel touch brush pens! I just got them last week and I love them!

Yes they are acrylic! And I’d say that’s accurate that they’re not as thick as other paint pens. One reason is because you can’t pump them to get more paint out. I’m so glad you like Pentel!

Hiii, I bought the Archer and Olive journals. But, I found the paper a little rough. I’m worried it will fray my pens. I use Yop and Tom journals. Have you tried them. The paper is super smooth and it comes with a little guide in the pocket in the back.

The teal is great on black paper, but in general these pens are not good on black paper, both the bullet and the brush. But I love these Taylor ideas!

What I want to know is, will the tops stay on. I have used the sharpie for a lifetime, but in the last year, every time I purchase a pack, the tops fall off. This is the sharpie pen felt tip that will not bleed. I have spent too much time trying to find my top so I don’t leave them open. I really want to give these a try but do not anticipate to deal with the top falling and having to find it. Let me know. Blessings.

If you can’t buy the sharpie creative markers, this would work with any other markers, it might take a bit longer but eventually, you will be done.
