Thanks for posting this video! I plan to click on the 3 links that you provided to learn even more. The train issue is the one that seems the most confusing so I'm hoping the links to the train passes and Swiss travel help me to refine our transportation strategy!

Glad it was helpful! Hopefully the links are clickable soon (KZbin is messing me around with that) otherwise, just copy and paste them :> and let me know if you have any questions.

I'm Swiss, and I confirm everything you said. Prices are very high compared to other countries. Especially food in restaurants. Maybe three times higher than where you come from.

yes, but Swiss salaries are way higher than other nations! purchasing power of the Swiss is higher than anywhere else. Now, if you can't afford Switzerland, visit Austria. It ressembles Switzerland, but prices are much lower.

@gerardmeyer2118 Yes, salaries are high. I was just warning others. And you are absolutely right. Especially Tirol is beautiful and a lot cheaper than Switzerland. Btw even Swiss go there.

Yes. Although i have heard things are way more expensive there too like skiing

Thank you for mentioning about the plug. I thought the type C plug that works in most EU countries would work in Switzerland too

Any suggestions/tips for trail choices for the Monthey/Montreux/Zug/Morschach areas for the April 26th-May10th time period? I heard that time of year had be pretty hit or miss for trails that aren't really simple and low altitude, but unfortunately that's the time period we are stuck going due to everyone's schedules.

Early season is tough for hiking opportunities. Around Morschach you might be able to hike on Rigi, or up it. The Grosse Mythen may be doable (gondola from Schwyz). Stoos and Fronalpstock are great, but busy - plus perhaps too high at that time. Around Montreux I am not so familiar with hikes aside from the hike up to Rochers de Naye - schweizmobil.ch/en/public-transport-8501369. There might also be options on that site for hikes up in the Lavaux through the vineyards.

@@SwitzerLanding Hey I'm planning a trip for my father for his 75th birthday!! What places do you recommend for older people who cannot walk that much
@SwitzerLanding
@SwitzerLanding 2 ай бұрын
@@johnny_bravo9990 Well, to be honest, most places would be ok if he just wants to see the views. All major gondola rides take you to nice view points with restaurants (Jungfrau, Schilthorn, Pilatus, Rigi, Gornergrat etc). Also places like Lucerne don't involve that much walking (Zurich & Geneva require a bit more) - you can limit it to the chapel bridge, the main old town. I have a video on that too if you want to check that out. It's the latest one.

Hey, I saw your video. I visited your channel and I saw that your content is so good. But there are lots of workspaces in your video SEO optimization area, so aren't reaching your video audiences as a result video views, likes and subscribers aren't increasing. I analyzed your channel and found many issues. Do you want to talk about it for a while? If you are interested in it, I can share issues with you
