1. I think Off the Record's buff took away the spirit of the perk. The idea of it was to be discreet, but now it's used boldly. It would've been cooler if once you're unhooked, a fake aura would remain with a post-poned notification. It would have to be shorter though. 2. In relation to your last video, I really miss the old survivor movement! The survivor turning their head constantly in the beginning, cautious and alert, really gave that sense to prepare yourself, taking in your surroundings! When you run injured, obviously you are going to look clumsy and limpy because you're bolting for your damn life! Now it looks like you just have a cramp from exercise or something. I hate 2020, even now. 💔

Boil Over is still one of the most busted survivor perks in the game. I had a game where 3 people in a swf group had boil over and I had to camp them on top of a large building until they all bled out. It was so unfun and horrible I hate this perk so much

The Blight model for the Killers POV was actually placed too low. There was a bug showing the wrong model in the opening camera spin and Blight legs were in the ground. So the had to raise him up and that through all his environmental animations off.

The clown rework to me seem like the most misunderstood rework. The speed boost can be immediately stopped when the survivor is in the purple bottle, and the survivors will be slown immediately to the purple bottle speed, while you're going faster. It works amazingly against holding W, as usually if you throw the yellow bottle in front of the survivor, or throw the bottle near the place you don't want them to go, you can take the speed boost, then slow them down in half a second before getting the boost. They almost get no where good, unless they're in a heavily survivor sided map.

As someone who has maimed clown, I'd say his yellow bottles are my favourite; combining them with the purple bottles in chase makes it surprisingly easy to get hits in chase. They're also useful to catch use with survivors on indoor maps, and some of clown's strongest addons are yellow bottle related (the aura reading one and the increased duration one are very strong when paired together.

Calm spirit maybe odd but its make some killers and perks annoying to use because they simply don't do what you got them for. Screaming is a big thing for someone like doctor that it really throws you off when you blast and noting happens over and over. Tip for doctor players don't forget to glance as the survivor irons and see if someone tiers up. If they do then you know they likely have calm spirit

6.1.0 came with several 'buff' nerfs to survivor perks that did not make sense. - Calm spirit got buffed with silent cleansing/opening, but with a 30%speed penalty that was far worse than its benefit - Pharmacy got buffed by "only working when injured". like seriously, wtf. Not only it does not give you the green medkit while you are healthy but also it does not give the chest opening speed boost. - Botany got the healing buffed but received medkit efficience penalty. I dont know why the devs feel the need to buff a perk if they are going to add a restriction that will leave it worse than before

calm spirit buff represents one of the worst parts of dbd design philosophy concerning new perks - they'll have interesting, perhaps niche, but potentially useful effects, but then just have the most absurdly long cooldown or downside that makes them absolute garbage for literally zero reason. like furtive chase - hooks reduce your terror radius. sounds actually really cool right? well sadly it literally only works in chases for some reason, making it borderline worthless

the map offerings were not buffed, item RNG in bloodwebs are not based on the item itself, but rather rarity, so instead of yellow and brown map offerings you now get other brown and yellow addons or offerings, bloodweb is based on rarity, not amount of items

The Blight "buff" isn't a buff it was them correcting the fact his FOV was bugged. So that isn't a buff at all its a bug fix. Also Ruin was nerfed big time. It does 100 percent not 200. 200 was a different patch.

The speed bottles on clown are very strong, after hearing you talk about some of these it’s clear that you just think these are weird buffs because you’re not very good or you are inexperienced. Clowns issue was having bad gen control and map pressure so they added yellow bottles to move more efficiently around the map and between gens, can also be minimally used in chase too just not on loops as often. Totem sounds may seem quiet but if you’ve ever played killer then you’d know that they can be heard from a considerable distance and give away a survivors location very easily also. Tombstone isn’t broken as it also takes forever to get active and doesn’t last forever, in normal game where you play normal it would be more beneficial to just bring a memento MORI. Bloodlust was a very highly praised buff as chases were taking too long especially on survivor sided maps and in that sense the game seemed survivor sided, they also buffed other chase mechanics alongside it so it made perfect sense to buff it. From how it seems it just feels like you think these mentioned changes are weird because you’re not very knowledgeable about the game or you’re just bad at facing or using the changes

Funny thing about the map offerings, it gives you a 99.99% chance to go to that realm, it does not guarantee it. It just greatly increases the chance to get that map. You have a 0.01% chance to not get the map.

I know clown mains that knows how to use yellow bottles, one of them has p100 clown too. They use it in a way that guarantees a hit where otherwise a pink pottle cant get all on its own. They also use it as a pocket agitation. You should definitely re-think the opinion on yellow bottles or at least give them a fair try

@Azhymovs sounds to me that you don’t play clown much at a high level. Good clowns can use the bottles in-conjunction clown speeds themselves up slow survivor down. If done right survivors won’t be able to reach the pallet window or the yellow gas.

For the map offerings, I'd like an offering for each variant of the maps that have multiple layouts. So instead of playing Macmillan and hoping I don't get Shelter Woods, I could play an offering for Groaning Storehouse. It would clutter the bloodweb, but it would be great to have some choice there

1:37 I wonder if the Clown's yellow bottles are better for killers who struggle to predict ppl's movement/ pathing during chases. I can imagine that the pink bottles wouldn't be too useful to ppl like that (outside of loops), so they might prefer using the yellow bottles just to catch up.

The "buff" to map offerings was because having different rarities was pretty pointless. If someone brought a map offering of any rarity it'd pretty much guarantee the map you picked, the same way the current map offerings do. BHVR realized this, and simply removed the brown/yellow variants, since they were redundant.

Clown’s yellow bottle should absolutely not benefit survivors. But I do find it useful at the start of the match and when patrolling gens, throwing it far enough away so it turns yellow while I’m walking through it. I also use it sometimes when I’m at one bottle to give myself a haste buff immediately after reloading.

Can you even call clowns rework a buff? Over 90% of the clowns I face never use the antidote from what I am aware of because it’s so pointless and weak. Plus some of his really good add-ons turned into add ons for the antidote no one cares about.

Clown bottles hinder them 15%? Certainly doesn't feel like it in some cases. I even run the addon that increases hindered even further and survivors still make it to loops with ease. I often wonder if they really do move at 4.0m/s or if they received a shadow buff to their running speed.

Clown has a unique problem that no other killer has but he has. Its that his hitbox for whatever reason is unnaturally large. This means that clown has a harder time looping objects that are not perfectly circular. Survivor can loop closer to the wall so they make loop faster then killer. He is only character that has this problem but this makes survivor roughly 2.5% faster around loops compare to other killers which makes his pink bottle a lot worse in a vacuum. The gas only last 2 seconds after leaving cloud which is other reason it sucks. Freddy's snares in comparison are 3 seconds hindered after leaving the puddle(5 second in total because the survivor needs to travel through whole snare) and he is shortest character.

I would argue the Bloodlust buff makes a pretty reasonable amount of sense when you think about what the mechanic actually does, and what the entire update was intending to achieve itself. Bloodlust may have been introduced for infinites, but now it serves a valuable purpose as one part of three mechanics that ensure no chase lasts forever; that's a good thing because if a chase lasts all game, nobody is having fun, except maybe that one survivor being chased. Additionally, that overall update was meant to make chases more lethal and de-emphasise regression or slowdown. Setting aside how successfully it may or may not have been in that endeavour, it makes sense that the chase-shortening mechanic got buffed in the update trying to emphasise quicker chases.

I wouldn’t consider the ruin rework a buff. Maybe you could consider it strange since it didn’t have the indented nerf effect but it still wasn’t a buff, just a new perk. The reason old ruin is still better then 200% regression ruin is because it gave automatic slowdown. All you needed to do was to protect the totem to get full use out of the perk. New ruin requires the killer pressure the generators in order for you get use out of it. That’s in addition to protecting the totem. So old ruin was a perk that could fit with any killer where new ruin really is most affective with killers who’s power puts pressure in gens (as opposed to chases or hooks).
