Thanks for some ideas and insight. Pull/slide out tables seems like a pain if you're eating with someone and one of you needs to get up. You'd have to pick up plates and things instead of just swiveling out the way.

Hello. What sliding bracket did you use to install the slide out table under the bed? I presume it's an undermount. All I find are side-mount brackets for drawers. TIA!

Think I just liked your (Nate's) table best but that's cos I've seen similar tables that can be attached externally for outdoor cooking etc too. Really like your positive attitude tho. I agree, I think everyone can do a van /suv/car conversion (and I think everyone SHOULD do their own diy - only you know what will work best for you).
