10. Installing Steel Beams on Concrete Columns

What is the cost of building with those steel beams compared to other methods? Planning to build a house with open spaces a great room and double ceiling and avoid having too many columns at those spaces

In our case the cost came out about the same as using cement and rebar support beams. And the process was significantly faster which resulted in savings in labor costs. In my opinion, the steel beams are the obvious solution if you want to avoid support beams in a large open space.

We've heard about prefabricated framed steel beams, and other potential solutions, but nothing seems as straightforward and dependable as this fast and reliable construction method
