Used to be able to get similar 8 minute mama brand 'handi rice' instant thai curry rice in London Chinatown and they were so good! green curry with fish flakes and red curry with small shrimp. Sadly can't find them any more

Just found out recently when I bought a couple of self heat pots of noodles that when you use them they give off carbon monoxide. We've a carbon monoxide alarm in our home and each time I did them it went of so the used pack was very quickly dispensed to the external bin.

They look similar but Kimbap I think uses a different type of rice and doesn't use raw fish typically having meats like grilled bulgogi, or cheese, kimchi, ham and eggs.

Seeing the gamer's rice meal reminded me of a meal I had a month ago. To keep this short, I was flying back from a trip abroad with an airline which, rather that serving standard airline meals to passengers, offered a range of foods that were similar to Cup Noodles and such. As I'd had an early morning start, and needed to take medication with food, I purchased one of these meals, something called 'chilli sin carne', a vegan friendly cup meal that included soya protein pieces, kidney beans and other veg in a spicy chilli sauce. Though it was a little too spicy for me, on the whole, it wasn't a bad meal. It certainly filled a void in my stomach with something that didn't taste too bad, allowing me to take the necessary medication, and kept me going until I got home and could rain the larder. Though it is very likely I will never encounter it again, if I do, I would eat it if offered it!
