Spoilers for the show, but Lu Guang is always described as "too mature for his age" especially compared to Xiaoshi- I wonder if this has to do with him going back to save Xiaoshi. For all we know that was just one of many attempts and although hes young physically, his mind isnt anymore- which would be so tragic 🤧 this ofc just an theory from observation. Same lol, he definitely went back at least once. So yeah his physical age doesn't quite match his chronological age. If he went back more than once (which is what I fear) then Lu Guang himself might not even remember what age he is anymore. Of course, I also feel that even before the whole time travel shenanigans Lu Guang was probably mature for his age. He strikes me as the quiet, mature type that probably did really well in school growing up but also sadly didn't have a lot of friends (which is maybe partially why he is so attached to Xiaoshi, if Xiaoshi is his first real friend or first best friend). Dammit I made myself sad.

That is something that always sort of confused me actually, why do they keep so many cameras around? I thought they only processed photographs but I guess they take them too? For people that want to pay to have their photo taken? And then of course they have their secret side gig (which often seems more like their main gig lol) of diving into photos for clients. Wonder who was the first to suggest that idea? Actually how tf did they even find out about their powers, or that both had them? In the donghua the Li siblings discover their powers (or at least it seems to be the first time?) when their father is beating their mother and threatening to kill them all. Tianchen seemed to somehow instinctively know how to use his ability and even to use his sister's ability combined with his own. I wonder if it was similar for Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi? If they also awakened their abilties because of trauma (a common backstory for superpowers lol) and what happened exactly and how they learned to use them? Was it also when they were kids or when they were older? How did they discover each other's abilities? How many other people have such abilities? Too many questions that I really hope they answer in S3! That and where tf Xiaoshi's parents are and why they abandoned him, and also who are Lu Guang's parents and what was his childhood like?

I wonder where they do photo shoots? There's a set of stairs in the bedroom and it really bothers me because I can't, for the life of me, figure out where they lead to. An attic room? The roof? Maybe that's where they do photo shoots idk. You know it's kind of crazy how many people in the show still use film cameras lol. Most people nowadays use digital cameras and don't need photo places anymore to get their film developed and turned into photographs. A lot of photo places have shut down because of that. I suppose some hobbyists and professionals still use film cameras? And there are those like Chen Xiao who find old cameras/rolls of film that for whatever reason never got developed, and bring them to Time Photo Studio to get them turned into photographs I guess. I vaguely recall using a film camera in kindergarten (technically digital cameras exist but my parents (for obvious reasons) didn't trust a five year-old with an expensive brand new digital camera to take with her on her field trip lol. And I vaguely recall going with my mother to a photo studio to get some film developed from one of our family vacations. I even can remember using a polaroid (or the off-brand version of a polaroid idk) and having to shake the photo it printed lol. Shit this is getting long again, sorry! I'll shut up now! 😅

While the upper floors of the studio seem to be off-limits to strangers (So commercial area is limited to the ground floor, while upper floors are residential). " = The show seems to be aware of it since their main characters commonly use their cellphones for taking pictures. But perhaps in their world, there's still a demand for developing old camera rolls, although customers would be very few... CXS thought of keeping the business alive not only because it was his family's original business, but also to provide service for those very few customers. And since their service is considered rare in recent times, their rates are probably very expensive. Well, that's the reason I came up with it when I tried to make sense of it haha. There's no way they can survive with just that kind of business if ever they didn't have superpowers. And I really appreciate comments so I'm very thankful to you as well :)
