You know what? Yes the Realisation Par Naomi skirt is expensive BUT you wear it so often (not a dig at you; go you for wearing it often. I LOVE that skirt) that the cost per wear is now probably lower than cheap fast fashion H&M that one would wear a couple of times and don’t wear anymore. Quality always! x

I wore cropped ivory jeans with a blouse and nude heels to a wedding related dinner recently and felt fabulous. I did worry about wearing white tones to the actual wedding though (it’s considered impolite to wear white to a wedding in the US), but I never worried about the denim being too casual. Both white and black make for tricky wedding wear, but for other occasions they’re timeless classics!

I love your channel! None of these looks are formal enough for the events I have to go to (black tie corporate events with work) but I love them anyway! Particularly that black ruffle dress, it’s incredible on you. I wouldn’t wear an all cream outfit to a wedding personally (bit too close to white but maybe that’s just me!) x

I absolutely LOVE that Isabel Marrant dress! Black linen? Yes, please! And as someone who has a few pair of wide leg trousers (actually bought them in India), they definitely upgrade any outfit! Just a plain T-shirt and a palazzo, and you feel like a French actress in a seaside resort

Anna, this was a great video. I tried organizing my wardrobe by types of garments = dresses, tops, pants, skirts, etc ... This did not work well for me ... I also tried by color which was worse. Had to spend too much time searching the whole closet for the right outfit. I finally did a Venn Diagram "wheel " and defined 4 Major Categories (e.g. Hobbies, Work, At Home, Social Events ). I then defined "Activities" within each category. For Example for my At Home Category I have the following = "At Home" with Activities = Sleeping, Lounging, Cleaning, Gardening, home maintenance Shopping/Errands., etc. For Category "Hobbies" I have Activities such as = Golf, Workout, Tennis, Travel outfits, Resort wear, etc. I then organized by closet along the same line. This worked very well for me as I have a section in my closet for each of the Major Categories and predefined "outfits" for each Activity ... sort of like a mini-capsule. I found that very few items of clothing overlapped in more than one category/activity. I even found very little overlap in handbags and shoes as they seem to align well with the Category/Activities. This way when I need to dress for a event/activity, I just need to go to that Category section in my closet then look at the outfits i have pre-defined for that Activity and I am set. I have been doing it for about a month and works great for me.so far...let me know what you think of this approach . Your fancy -spancy would be under Social : Dressy-Chic in my closet.

Anna, I forgot to mention that this is just my summer wardrobe as I have fall and winter in storage at this time. And on days when I have the time and energy to be creative, I pull from any Category/Activity to form an outfit. My plan is to review and refine twice during each Quarterly season to accommodate transition times.
