If you've lost a loved one, feel lost or ashamed, or you have a hard time forgiving yourself, you need to listen to Jeff's story. Start with part 1 and then listen to 2 and very importantly you need to listen to part 3 where Jeff answers some very meaningful questions. I think his story will be life-changing for some of you.
Part one: • #9 This NDE will Chang...
Part two: • #10 Jeff Olsen's Encou...
Part three • #11 Our loved Ones Liv...
Jeff Olsen is a number one international best-selling author who inspires audiences globally with his intriguing story of perseverance and inner strength. After a horrific automobile accident took the lives of his wife and youngest son, also inflicting multiple life-threatening injuries to Jeff (including the amputation of his left leg) he found the courage to survive over 18 surgeries and eventually heal both physically and emotionally.
At the time of his accident, Olsen had incredible Out-of-Body and Near-Death Experiences, bringing him insights not common in today’s world. Jeff has integrated these experiences into everyday life, inspiring others to embrace the beauty around them and choose joy in all they do.
Olsen’s latest book, WHERE ARE YOU? is a collaboration with his oldest son Spencer, who also survived the accident at the age of seven. They have captured in a simple and powerful way their healing journey through the innocent perspective of that seven year old child. “Where Are You?” is a heartfelt book for all ages and perfect for anybody who misses someone.
Among Jeff’s many accomplishments, he is most fulfilled by simply being a husband, father and friend.

How very interesting is this immense situation because the accident unfolded, you didn't know you were going to have a split second micro sleep, but your first wife knew and she had the premonition to hug and kiss her parents, one last time. You have a wonderful Soul Jeff.

I think its fairly easy to forgive yourself for some wrong things we are doing almost every day without much of our conscience or not much of our choice, but it's different and not so easy to forgive someone who has hurt you in profound ways. This is a real "art" of forgiveness

Usually the Devine is felt as we intertwine our spirit with what is in front of us.. sometimes in the most difficult situations. Empathy is a beautiful gift so as it it forgiveness and gratitude

I suppose technically I am an Atheist. The REAL description would be I don't believe in "the god of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob"..that doesn't mean I don't "think" there is a life after death. I have been reading and listening to NDR stories since I was a young teen. It is very hard to dismiss these stories offhand. I have known people that said they had these experiences and I have no reason to doubt them. That leaves me with some interesting questions. How can we "justify" the horrors of this world? I mean.....how can "God" allow the SA, torture, and death of a young child? Or the horror of this guy's experience? The horrors of war? What is the purpose? God "experiencing" himself? Doesn't God already know all this stuff? If we "are" God then don't we already "know" this stuff? Is this entertainment? I mean not just for "God" but for us too? Is it for contrast? Is it so we appreciate "heaven/home" more? I mean how are we supposed to understand Joy if we don't know misery? If we already know the answers then why are we here? Why would anyone "choose" to be born in the Favela knowing how miserable that would be? Why would someone agree to be born a female knowing that at some point they would be r@ped, tortured, and murdered? Why? Why was I born to wonder about these questions and not have answers? A friend once told me...." you have paralysis from analysis.." Hey, it's me.Sorry for the long rant.

I think all of your thoughts and questions are valid. I believe that we are here to learn and it seems like that is why we suffer. Many of my guests have addressed this. Even so it is a hard concept to grasp in my human mind but I believe it will be clear to me when I go home someday. Also, you don’t have to be an atheist because you reject religion. God is much bigger than religion. I think a lot of people who reject God are really rejecting what man has projected on to God. Stay curious my friend. Best wishes.

@@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch Thank you for your thoughtful response. I know people who have had these experiences find it hard to explain. I get that. I also think that one day it will be clear again. That is why I don't really stress myself about it. If we already, either are God, or we are part of "God" then we already have access to this information. That begs the question what is there to "learn"? I suppose that leaves the possibility that we are on a "vacation". We are on a 'pretend' play-ground. Maybe, after the play is over, and the cast get together for a party you find out that the whole thing was for you. 'Yeah we have been working on this for about a Billion years, and finally got it going a couple of Million years ago. I hope you had fun. '😂 If that is the case, thanks for coming to my party. 🤣🤣🤣😀

It drives me a little nuts when people refer to God as he. If anything God is a she, but obviously, it's ("we're) beyond any type of gender classification. I suppose I should just chuckle as you hear that Divine beings do when they're asked ignorant questions by human beings that are having nde experiences, not to imply that I possess even a tiny fraction of the knowledge, wisdom or insight of those beings. Then again, in "Ultimate Reality " I am those beings.

I don’t think God really cares. Saying “it” seems too impersonal. I often use he because that is how I grew up and it is natural for me. My guests may use a pronoun that is natural for them. If God doesn’t get hung up on it, why should we?

Thanks for sharing but I don’t believe that “your soul came here to experience what it did.” I’m a Christian, so that sounds like New Age talk to me. You likely imagined that when standing at her grave. We don’t have to go through “thousands of lifetimes before we merge with God.” That’s a Hindu belief. When you know Jesus, you come to realize that God loves us and gives us a lifetime here on this earth, before we go to heaven to spend eternity with him, beyond this space/time 3-D realm. God is our creator, and we are the created, and we are not going to eventually be God “the creator.” We will always be the “created.” This interviewer uses lead-in questions and you can tell that her belief system is definitely new age not Christian.

Religion was written by man and manipulated and is filled with dogma, you do realise at one point religion ruled the world, anybody who rules the world wants power and control and religion used fear to capture people by creating hell. So people obey and neel down and beg for forgiveness, I’ve listened to thousands of ndes and they all share simular experiences and most turn to spirituality rather then a religion, not dismissing your beliefs tho as you did his experiences, I just trust those that have past and had the experience then a guy that preaches and tells you your going hell if you don’t ask for forgiveness or you make the bad decisions, from ndes it’s all experience and you choose your life, good and bad to experience. You can’t know love without the hate, you can’t enjoy the sunshine without experiencing the rain. Religion is on the right track but I feel somone down the line manipulated and changed it to inflict control. That’s why most people are turning to spirituality, it makes sence and we don’t have to say god works in mysterious ways, we simply say it’s all love and it was the experience you needed to grow and evolve your soul, and that could be a traumatising experience, could be war but I feel the bad happens in the wild such as war because life has a ripple effect and in order for a new world, the old would will have to end. Not literally but the system will have to go down in order for change
