That’s the thing with games like this, naruto UNS, etc... most casuals don’t see the skill base behind them and will only play rushdown and say there is no skill. While my friends were learning the naruto games (especially storm 4) I always played rushdown as they didn’t know what to do, but as they started to learn, I had to start playing properly and think that lil’ bit more about what I was doing. These games aren’t as skill heavy as traditional 2d fighters. But you can tell the different between versing some who doesn’t know how to play vs someone who does in these arena fighters.

high speed dodging and countering and chases play a big factor plus how you side step and angles you are attacking at all take a big factor into your movement if u dash at somebody but come up short of being able to punch them and they got there ultimate you basically dead. distancing and movement matter trust me.@J S

@J S and tbh u right to get awakening u gotta accumulate damage but if u get yo awakening the first round keep it and lose the second while yo opponent focused on rebuilding theres you jus beating them up so u can get the ultimate finish

Another tip not mentioned if you use the square smash(I forget what that is for Xbox) you can get behind your enemy when your character flashes red by moving the left thumb stick and pressing X/A. You have to be at a certain distance in order to end up behind them.

The biggest thing that i found that made me win every game was switching characters all the time. When switching characters it can cause your opponent to stagger and you get a free combo. Also its very hard to see coming

When I try to grab when an opponent is blocking it just cancels out and my characters hand just goes through the opponents body like some game bug.

OP tip: use Airtight: ability reduce elemental, Temper: ability Attack up, Black Coffin: ability, Ability Up. Assist Vegeta. Pretty much a one shot OP combo

I learned both by doing it and being on the receiving end certain specials will give you armor and bypass other specials of certain types though you will still take some damage basically as an example since I like Asta's moveset and give my CaC's Asta's moveset which means one of my specials is Black Hurricane and the specials it go through is Trunks's Burning Attack and the specials in the same type category as Burning Attack.

Extra tip: jump up and hold □ a d right when u turn red you can teleport and break their shield and do massive damage (reason for jumping is they cant attack you while you try to use it and if you fail u attack but not teleport Extra tip 2: put tailed beast bomb shuriken on □ then keep charging a d dont STOP and spam □

Or just use vegetas awakening, spam his energy blast/Big Bang, While charging use an assist to keep the enemy busy, and spam it again. Perfect timing for it to constantly work and even if they block it will slowly widdlendown their HP

I have a zoro combo with crazy damage but it takes up all 5 bars to use so I use goku as my assist so I can charge up while they are blocking or getting hit

When u tap L1/2, that's how u switch characters. To use an assist, u have to hold the button instead of tapping.
