To me, personally, it's not a big age gap until 10 years apart but it by no means means that I think that people can't find their person with massive age gaps between them...Connections and love are funny, non-judgmental things!

I absolutely love Backstreet Rookie, but I was surprised the age gap never got brought up by anyone in the story even though the show makes it very clear that there is a sizable (though unspecified) one between the leads. I say “surprised” only because the male lead starts out with an _older_ girlfriend who eventually becomes very jealous of this hot young girl hitting on her fellah...but her objections about his time with the hot young girl working for him never include and argument that she’s so young-while there is plenty of offhand reference to how the male lead is a couple of years younger than the girlfriend. I’m not questioning whether it would or would not be realistic to the social culture, I just thought it was narratively strange that even the girlfriend didn’t say anything.

How about Mr. Sunshine. Lee Bhyun Hun is 53 and Kim Tae Ri is 33. Both have very good chemistry even though no kissing scene. For me I don't mind watching ML is a lot older than FL. But I can't watch if FL is a lot older than ML. LOL.

7 years isn't a huge age gap! I was thinking 15 years or more but really only depending on their ages. Like 20 and 36 seems like a lot, but 44 and 59 doesn't. It makes sense to me.

Agree, I was engrossed by it too. Maybe because the male lead looks way older than he is and the female lead looks way younger than she is but it was plain disturbing and gross to see them kiss. I got the same vibes from the Boxer drama as well.

10 years ago gap is completely fine. There are so many people who live happily together with such age gap. However 20 and more is a totally another story. It's pure grooming of young kids and it's morally wrong.

10 year age gap is already pretty huge. Imagine a 20 year old and 30 year old being together. There is a massive power imbalance as well as maturity, status and wisdom. You can say love will overcome it all but it should not be promoted because if it was a wrong partner it could leave nasty scars.
