I had Boldy last year, and he was frustrating to own in the first half of the year. In the second half though, holding onto him really paid off! I think you're right! If he's able to play like his second half all year, he's gonna be a mojor steal!

Hynes is trying to avoid the Boldy, EK Kaprizov combination full time. He said on podcast they are looking for more offence in top 9. Early look was Hartman and Zuccarello. I found this out after I went Boldy over Caufield lol

Interesting - we will see how things play out but I still like Boldy quite a bit (even with injury). Good exposure to PP1 and the top 6 is great - maybe they pull and Oilers and play Boldy-Jeek-Kap in the 3rd period when down. Who knows.

Hey Mike, I just need your advice. So my league this year has 3RW, 3C, 3LW, 4 defense, 1 utility, 4 bench, 2 goalie. So in total, I have about 9-10 forward spots. Should I focus on taking elite forwards early? Or focus on elite d-men? 12 team, H2H, categories, G, A, P, PPP, SOG, HIT, BLK, PIM, W, GAA, SV%

You can probably start 4 F 1 D in the first 5 rounds. Peripheral defenseman with Pim's can be found later in drafts; Parayko, Faulk, Gudas etc.,

I thought i read that LA wont be playing the 1-3-1 system this year. Will be interesting to see how that effects their D systems and goalies

Only player on this list that I'm not as high on is Kuemper. LA is not playing the 1-3-1 shutdown system this season. I'm not sure what system, exactly, they're using but I expect it to open up the ice and Kuemper to struggle.

Keep in mind David Rittich had a 2.15 GAA and a .921 SV% while talbot had a 2.48 GAA and a .913 SV%. Surely Kuemper is better than both of these guys. I wouldn't look too much into the LAK systems - you have to think a 1-3-1 puts more emphasis on defense versus offense, which will help the goalie.

Ive liked all videos even if i dont agree completely. An example, like last yr you boys were all in on Sergachev but i kept thinking Hedman has earned that right to lose it. Chabot is not Hedman, but has he not done enough to get first crack? Or maybe Sanderson is just that good... we'll see.

One of my favourite comments because you kept it civil. I couldn't agree more we were wrong on Sergachev (this is bound to happen). Senators just released their PP lines and it looks like Sanderson is starting the season at PP1.

What do you think about Noah Hanifin? I’ve gotten him pretty late in a few leagues after waiting on dmen and he seems like a major boom/bust candidate. He was so good for Vegas after the trade and gaining the PP1 spot, but there’s a ton of competition for him at the spot with Theodore healthy again and Pietrangelo. If he keeps the top PP spot for most of the season he’s absolutely a league winner, but if he loses it then he’s probably only viable in deeper leagues. However, Vegas did give him that huge contract so I’m willing to believe that they trust him enough and want to keep him on PP1

He never could hold on to PP1 over Andersson in Calgary, and now he has Theodore who puts up nearly 1 ppg when healthy, and then Peitro as a back up. I'd say he's 70% bust 30% boom chance

@@Josh-fo5oy backups on good teams are just as viable in those categories because they usually have the weaker opponent and should be good for GAA/SV%. I still fade goalies regardless of cats

I don’t know about Caufeild, Laine could very well take his spot as the one-time threat on the pp and could hurt his fantasy value. Love the guy but Laine is a pp specialist in that spot and has proven it more than Caufield

@@randomreviews1461 this is the 3rd year in a row everyone has been saying "Goal Caufield" will be a league winner. Hes never cracked 30. Hits no one. Blocks nothing. PIMS nothing. Good shot volume. Decent playmaking nothing special. Me personally I would rather Frank Vatrano or Jared Mcann. Lower ceilings but much higher floors.

314 shots last season - like I said in the video - he was the only player with 300+ shots and
