@@DavidCowie2022 Issue isn't with Gameranx, issue is with publishers pushing out sequels and remakes and not developing new games, new ideas. I get it, it's risky to do something new when you know you can just keep pumping out the same NBA or NFL game and make billions. But it seems the only time we get something new these days is from indie designers, and then once something is popular, every publisher jumps on it wanting to try to copy it.

@gameranx have you ever considered inverting the color palette of your 1-10 transition slides? i always find the white to be really blinding on bright screens, often in contrast to the darker video content of the games. this might be a really dumb idea but who knows it might look super cool inverted, where the background is black instead of white, and then the number would be white/yellowish PS love all your videos

It's not Burnout Paradise but some of the other ex Criterion devs are working on a game called Wreckreation that appears to be heavily inspired by Burnout, though it seems they are going the extra arcadey route with loops and stuff like that.

I would love to see a Mayan/Aztec assassins creed game. I think it would work beautifully with that kind of game. Traversing central American jungle canopies and standing atop the temple of the sun. Blame IGN as to why we will never get a sequel. if you dont know, check the IGN review. Dislikes may be gone (there are extentions to bring them back) but to comments are still there. That guy still has a job at IGN too. He single handedly tanked the sales of alien isolation with that review.

The game throws materials at you on hard and below you can build infinite lures... I can’t express how much I’d love another Evil Within! I’ve replayed both so many times. So many questions…. How nightmarish can the deeper part of STEM be? Sykes? Joseph? Ruvik? Also, speaking of Shinji Mikami…. As much as I’d love the Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake, I’d love a Resident Evil 1 more. I know there’s technically already been a remake, but that remake itself is over twenty years old now. There’s some really terrifying monsters that, just like the other remakes, would be made truly hellish with updated graphics.

A Venom game would be neat, I hope it will include Deadpool too. One of the origin stories of Venom, Deadpool was one of the hosts and Venom immediately left Deadpool's body and goes crazy and goes back to his test tube. Thanks to Deadpool, Venom has its personality. If they use that story as the origin story and later on an encounter with Deadpool that includes banter back and forth would be great.

@gameranx I'm going to assume it's a new portal game for the valve rumors and it would make sense for it to be portal 3 or portal (insert new title here) because the Valve Deckard (Valve Index 2) is right around the corner with the rumors surrounding that. And if you look at Valve Index 1, what did they release along with that? Half Life Alyx and Apeture Hand Lab. When they released the Valve Steam Deck what else did they release along with that? Apeture Desk Job. So when they release the Valve Deckard (Valve Index 2), they also might be releasing Portal (whatever the game's title will be called) as well as an Apeture mini game like hand lab or desk job, but for their new wireless headset. We might also get an update to Boneworks or BoneLabs or a new Bone title for the new VR Headset.

I want them to succeed as CoD needs an actual competitor and I did like what I played (even though I sucked at it). Hoping March is enough time for them to get everything right. FFX absolutely does not need a remake. The HD remasters exist(and are the international versions). They have voice acting and 3D models moving about. Not much needs to be left to the imagination of the player.

When they release the 20th anniversary version of BG&E, I hope they update the graphics and the gameplay to make it more current so it'll play well on current generation hardware.

Burnout 3 was the Goat personally, but who remembers Split Second?? That game was so fun too! A shame it was online only back in the day. That deserved a sequel imo

If another Final Fantasy remake is going to be in the works, it should be for 6. That game is a masterpiece, and people deserve to experience its story.

Not sure why Gameranx isn't for a remake of Black Flag. I'd personally have no desire to replay a remaster of the game since I could get that experience through the modding community. A Remaster would only be played by a few major fans while a Remake would be played by everyone getting them all hyped for Skull and Bones.

What I want to see though doubt it will happen: Star Wars Republic Commando remaster either for quest vr headsets or pc along with Star Wars Pod Racing remaster would also be pretty awesome! Though Pod Racing in VR would be kinda terrifying lol. Parasite Eve would be epic if brought to the ps5 and given the ff7 level of remaster or Dino Crisis.

I've been playing Black flag again recently. On PC, setings all maxed out and it looks pretty good but it plays amazingly
