the best comparison review I've ever seen I guess my TOP 6 LEP 100 METERS 1.)Weltool W4 Pro 2.)Jetbeam RRT M1X Raptor 3.)Weltool W4 4.)Astrolux WP3 5.) Maxtoch L2KS 6.) Lumintop Thor 3 and all top 6 that I rate the only LEP that I can afford for now is Lumintop Thor 3 😁 4months to go so I can have this one.

Nice! Yeah, some LEPs throw farther than others, but some have a nicer beam. So it all depends on the use case. They are all great flashlights!

I kind of like the Weltool W4 and the Acebeam W30 plus the Astrolux WP3 the best. 1-2-3

Windmill test was definitely the perfect target to show the power difference between these lights, when you make your next vid definitely use that again at the same distance so we can compare to this video

Will keep that in mind, but I keep my eyes open to other spots as well. I'd prefer a large building, because the whole beam could be visible.

Yeah, the T20L has a larger beam, which looks a bit more like the smaller LEPs; Acebeam W10 gen2, Weltool W3 PRO

Just signed up to your channel. Love the review that you put out on your channel on the lEP’s. I have 5 LEP‘s. Out of my collection my W4 Pro Tac and my W3 pro Tac are my favorites .I also have the M1 along with the W 35 from AceBeam Which is another really great product . I have the Thor3 which to be honest, gives you a lot for your buck ,being that it’s a quarter of the price then the other brands that I had just mentioned. Thank you again for such a great showing my next LP I’m looking at the W 50 but to be honest my wife wants to kill me at this point lol😉

Hi there, Thank you for the video's.... they are awesome! I just ordered the W4 Pro and two day's ago the Acebeam X80-UV. About ten years ago i started collecting Laserpointers and still have about 100+ today. (even classics) They range from different colors and power output's in battery handheld devices. (Yes i have some lab and gas lasers aswell) In between those times i purchased some flashlights aswell sinds i like lights in general 🙂 Back in the day (about 9+ years ago ?), i buyed the Olight SR90 Dominator with all the glass filters (even diffuser bubble glass filter) Then i went with the Polarion Ph-40 HID etc... So i ordered the W4 Pro today and never had a LEP flashlight before... I alway's wanted the Acebeam W30 but they went out of stock and i never pulled the trigger. Waited and still am sinds 2020 for the W40 from Acebeam, but still nothing on the horizon. After the order was made on the Weltool W4 Pro, i found out that there is also a W5 from Weltool. (strange thing is the W5 is cheaper in my country then the W4 Pro, but specs seem better ¿) Should i have gone with the W5 instead ? Best regards..

Yes, it's one of the first stunning LEPs I came across. It's been replaced with the RRT M1X Raptor, which looks nicer, but performs much worse.

The Weltool is so interesting for sure.. amazing performance for a single cell LEP! The Thor 2 is pretty good as well. I have too many LEPs to make a good comparison, pointing them in the sky at the same time.. Some will have dropped in output before I finish turning them all on. I have received this request quite a few time, but iI probably need like 5 people to help out :D

very nice video, it's great, I like. Can you in your next video aim at a wall and project several LEPs at the same time, because the camera or the camera filters and adapts the light, is with several projections it really allows you to compare the size and the luminosity. thank you marco you are a CHEF

That's not true. The camera doesn't adjust the light!!!!! The camera settings are manual, with a manual lens. The camera doesn't adjust the light! This is very important to keep in mind, and probably the difference between my beamshots and others? Also, There should now be enough beamshots to give you a good feeling of the brightness and intensity. I don't think more beamshots will help.. If this isn't enough, than it will never enough :D

From these? That's the Weltool W4 PRO. It's the best performer at this point in time. Maybe a combo of the rotating switch and the performance of the W4 PRO would be great

@@beencraftn6612 it's still the W4 PRO for single cell LEPs! Maxtoch L2Kd for dual cell LEPs, and the Maxtoch Owleyes W PRO for the dual head..

When we talk about LEP flashlights, we don't talk about the 'brightest', but the one with the highest intensity/longest reach. If you want to know the brightest, it's the Nextorch T20L. If you want to know the farthest reaching of these all.. It's the Weltool W4 PRO.

@@1lumen Marco I’d have to agree with you.The W 4 throws 2.11 miles it is insane. My first torch for LEP’s was the Thor 3 which is a monster on its higher output at over a mile and a half. But the W4 pro is insane.

Thank you. I am preparing for the next video. I first want to finish my written review, and then do a comparison of the top 5 (or so) LEP flashlights... the one I'm reviewing now will be in the top 3, so I first want to finish that

Your Thor III here looks to be a pre production item, The knurling gives it away. The production Norse runic/pineapple knurling help make the Thor the best looking LEP in the business, just my opinion. Its a shame it's been lumped in with some of these bigger, costlier LEP's here because at just 6" long and $165 it straddles this and the other smaller mid size grouping test you did, and If placed in there it would have murdered the opposition. I know you did that because of the diameter of the head, but again its a mid size LEP, it sure aint large! I hope the Lumintop bunny visits you in your dreams and mistakes your head for s carrot! The Thor III in my opinion is the perfect blend of size, styling, performance, and price. Serious enough for enthusiasts, but priced for entry level noobs. I'm also wondering if your 'prototype' example is missing 80 lumens of the production item's 400? Just one more thing, the cost of these competitors is much more expensive, the W4 Pro for example is well over twice the price of the Thor III, again evidence the Lumintop should have been in the other comparison video.

Thank you for your reply. These comparisons are indeed size based, not price based. Perhaps I will once do a price based comparison.. but what price brackets would you recommend? $50-100, $100-$150? $150-$200? Or in categories of 100? 0 till $100, and then $100-$200, and $200-$300? And what prices should I use? The lowest price at the time of producing the video, from anywhere on the internet? Or the recommended price from the manufacturer before discount? And what should I do if the price reduces? I would recommend reading our 60+ LEP reviews on 1Lumen.com and then compare the performance etc.
