Seve, you mentioned accumulating things when you’ve been settled somewhere for four years. My husband and I have lived in the same one bed flat in u.k for a long time, me twenty two years, him twenty nine years, it’s still spacious and uncluttered. Regularly editing and reviewing what you keep and what comes in is a good practice. It’s never static as interests, hobbies and tastes change through your life.

Well done! Yeah, I've noticed I need to regularly review and declutter things. It's a never-ending but very beneficial journey 😉 Thanks for the comment!

Dude! I came across your channel recently and have really been enjoying the minimalist content. I had no idea you were vegan as well! That's awesome!! Cheers from a fellow vegan minimalist in the US 👊😎🌿

As a maximalist, these videos have been really helpful. I decided to become more minimal after having to move out of a house I lived in for 10 years. It was a total nightmare. I felt my stuff quite literally weighing me down

The FIRE idea is hard to accomplish in the United States. Most health insurance comes through employment. Buying it on your own is very expensive and doesn’t cover every procedure, prescription, or health care visit. We remain employed because we can’t afford to get sick.

Yeah, I totally get it. You guys have a whole different system compared to many others

Very good. I think the key for me was, “Why am I doing this? What are my goals?” This went a long way toward making how I wanted to live much simpler. Thank you for your wonderful videos. You say it all.

Hello 😊. When I leave my parents at 21, for my 1st appartement, I asked immediately to my parents, if I can take with me some furnitures. Most of them, my parents said yes, my dad struggled a little for the big desk of my grandfather (his father)... But he said yes... It s was not at all because I was cheap, it was normal for me, and I was very happy to live in those family furnitures, in good condition. I m still with them. Now I would like an other table and a chandelier, they are in my family house, where is living my daughter, and not used... So in my life, I just bought a couch, some big shelves of very good quality and that all... Couch didn't exist long time ago 😅... It s my mindset...i m living in the kitchen of the previous owner, and I really don't care 😅. Now at my age I need a new bed, a new couch, because my body changed, I have arthritis 👍🏻, not much in one life... Keep it up, thanks for your videos, hello from Paris France 🤗

Just to join the joke of the "level 100 minimalist", anything like that would have to be something like a buddhist monk, sat in meditation for years on end, eating nothing but a corn of rice every three months. That might be a bit too minimalist for my tastes 😅 Goes to show, like you said, minimalism is a very personal journey!

the more i try to be a minimalist the more I own stuff and bring more hobbies, why?
@SunnyKindJourney6 ай бұрын
What do you think? Think about this and answer to yourself honestly without judgment. Minimalism is about owning and doing things that you truly value. For some, it's more, for some, less. Do you value every item and every hobby equally? With what you can't live without?

I studied it for 3 years in high school. We had to choose subjects and somehow I always found Islam very interesting so I went with religion. It ended up being one of my majors 😊

That is one of the stupidest opinions I've ever seen in a video comment. Or maybe you're just a troll.
@derhard7066 ай бұрын
you obviously have no idea what minimalism means. It's not about getting rid of everything, it's about getting rid of things that don't spark joy or serve a purpose. It means to declutter everything to a state you only own things you use at least once a year or things that make you happy, to eliminate all the unused stuff you never have/will use(d) or even forgot about.
