After YEARS of watching people babble about theory and ego wank themselves and confuse and frustrate the watcher, your channel has really inspired and skyrocketed my playing. The way you show to play rhythmic lines that are also simple but when combined created intricate lines is amazing dude. Thanks for all this free knowledge i know you put a lot in. Ive been sticking with just your vids and ive learned more in a week than years of other videos combined. It makes me wanna actually play guitar.

Excellent!! Can't thank you enuf for the straight-on camera angle shot; wish more Utooob teachers would do this! None of this headstock heading off to the NE corner, or angling fwd into the rt side of frame, with body slanting back & into the SE corner. And camera NOT below the fingers, which would be covering the strings. Saves us so much time not having to parse details. THANK YOU!

I really enjoy your sound and style - very unique and so much different than most of the derivative blues licks I usually stumble across on KZbin - love the lack of bends and hammer-ons - simply clear and stylish phrasing - very much a jazzy vibe to your music - I definitely need to bone up on my triads and arpeggios - anyway, I'm inspired! great job mate!!

Daniel, this is such a great capsule lesson and I love the efficient clarity of your delivery, so much info packed into 9 minutes! (Your playing is so great, too!!) You start to mention toward the end that a lot of the harmonic content is coming from C melodic minor scale harmonization. At first I used C Dorian as the parent scale because of the major 6th, but it became clear that melodic minor was the sound you were evoking with the major 7th (and that awesome sounding Eb+ triad). Am I on the right track? I was a little confused where the sixths are coming from but my ear found the right sounding diads to use. This launched me in a lot of directions, knitting a lot of information together. Thanks!!
