what i say instead of “i have anxiety” is “i’m overcoming anxiety”. i think it’s definitely good to acknowledge and comfort yourself through the fact that you have some battles, but you don’t have to accept it as a part of you. once you accept it, you start convincing yourself that you’re stuck with it and you’ll never change. i use to turn down any social situation or public speaking and say “i can’t, i have anxiety.” now i tell myself “i can, i’m overcoming my anxiety.” obviously everyone has different levels of anxiety and some may need to take smaller steps than others. this may not be the best method for everyone, but i wanted to share in case someone found some insight

Getting older sometime feels like a curse you need to stop, specialy if you feel like you are not where you "suppose" to be, and sometime where you suppose to be is goal made by the society, be marriage by this age, have kind at that age, finish you education at that age, know what you want to do with your life and that deadline is teenager, and thats something im trying to shake of me, since i just found out what i want to do with my life, and i feel like im so late to party, but im trying to be kinder to my self. thank you for the video, you definity made me think of certain things.

What you said about not wanting to read or write for fun because it can’t generate income in our capitalist society was SO relatable. I’m also working on overcoming that way of thinking and just doing things for myself and my own growth and happiness. Also you’re totally right that nobody has it all figured out and we shouldn’t put so much pressure on ourselves to always know what’s next. This was such a lovely video, you’re super inspirational and have such a calming vibe! 💛

4:14 this is how I feel about the quote "get so far out of your comfort zone, you don't remember how to get back" because I know that it's meant to empower you to try new experiences - but it has this weird aftertaste of degrading having a "comfort zone." Your comfort zone is still the home base for your boundaries and if you forget how to get back to those, then you'll kind if lose yourself?

This video really spoke to me. I learned so much, and at the same time, you gave me the chance to reflect on myself and what I've learned throughout quarantine. If you have time, could you please do a video on how to deal with failure? I just feel like there's always a fear of failing for everyone, and it would be wonderful if you could address it and give your thoughts and opinions. Lots of Love

The number four is really relatable for me. I’ve been following one of my fav youtuber and she’s in my age, more or less. She’s recently married and right now she is building her new house and it is super big, and i was like, wth is wrong with me? I even don’t have a job because of this pandemic (recently graduated from uni) and it make me really sad to watch someone around my age that can afford big house 😥 Love you btw Jem, one of the most honest and real youtuber ever 🥰
@lilacberry56674 жыл бұрын
why would you be sad because of someone else affording a bigger house... this is kinda fucked up
@maryoop79204 жыл бұрын
It's okay, everyone has their one pace. The right opportunities will appear someday, and then you can look forward to make your dreams come true. Everyone's life is different, some of us buy a house sooner than others, but that doesn't mean that you can't do it! You just need to wait a little longer and I promess things will be better ♡ please stay healthy and strong

really, REALLY loved this video... i love habits and self-improvement content... and Ive been with you for years now and watching you grow has been a pleasure! love your podcast too, i love listening to it when im washing up or just preparing for bed ^-^ here's some of the 2020 lessons i picked up and would like to share!: ""It's alright to not be happy for a day." At some point, I realised that it was even more tiring to be obsessed about happiness. You end up feeling anxious too." - IU You can't make any choices if you're afraid of criticism. Whatever choice you do you'll be criticized. Everything is as it should be and only later in life you can connect the dots. You can't always find comfort. Sometimes, you must create it. The search for blame is meaningless. Having somewhere, someone to blame doesn't extinguish pain - rather it lets it rest and gives it a place to grow. "There is no such thing as the right answer in life, just choices." - Odd Girl Out (webtoon)
