This is such a quick and easy pattern. I have made several of them and since they are so easy you can embellish them with a little embroidery and still not spend a lot of time but have a nice gift. I think I did cut batting and fit inside to give it some “umph”, rather than just a stabilizer. It did add to it and I also quilted it. Just took a little longer. So fun. In my infinite wisdom, I decided to quilt a piece for the top. Except it was 15 inches instead of 9, Then the bottom piece, well, let's just say it was a hot mess when I got done. Now I have to convince my mom that we should put it on the table, at least when no one is coming over. Oh I'm going to try this again but make sure the blocks are 9 inches!

I made this but used to different seasons of fabric. Get to use the same table runner for twice as long. Thanksgiving on one side Christmas on the other.

Great video. I have those same fabrics I could use. How do you like the True Cut rotary cutter? Is it left or right hand specific? Do you know why their ruler has all those cut outs? Didn’t get to stop at their booth at quilt festival this year.

The fabric is 9 by width of fabric (selvage to selvage) And the other is 18 inches by width of fabric (selvage to selvage)
