Broken 10 pin wire and missing cap on number 6
@GarageBowlingAlley8 ай бұрын
I need to go fishing for the cap in the pit. I was also curious purposely who would have the keen eye. Plus the one Pinnacle mixed in. You passed the test !

@@GarageBowlingAlley - Thank you...I have 35+ years of experience on A2s and notice things like that.

Looks like the pinsetter is running faster. Jet Back speed maybe. Just going by the video you did awhile back.

It's A and I even compared another pulley yesterday. It's the smallest of the 3 that I have. A. Jetback and A2 speed. This is the small one I almost want to slow it down more. Make a creepy slow Livestream

How much did you pay for the pin setter and lane?
@GarageBowlingAlley8 ай бұрын
Not much but it was the pinsetter uninstaller that cost me.

Learning a lot from your videos. I have a machine that once the 5 pin goes into the chute and drops the pins, the turret almost likes sticks and doesn’t advance all the way. You have to push the turret to lock it into its spot. What could be the cause

Bowling in an empty bowling alley by yourself is pretty neat, you can hear the pins going into the turret and then dropping into the deck, neat stuff for sure, one place I sometimes bowl at, it's really empty on the weekends so I drop in and throw a few balls just for kicks 😁 the rake says "Brunsy" on it 😎

The sound of the pins cycling esp in the clangy pinwheel 😎🎳

Question. Bowled on an A2 and have had my ball come back with severe gouges on it. I’ve heard that the ball wheel maintenance is the key. Thoughts. Thanks
@GarageBowlingAlley8 ай бұрын
Gouges ? I'd check your tail plank on the lane for a screw. Or the flat gutters for a screw. The ball wheel only damages balls when a pin gets caught in the lift rod. It will burn in a gouge from the kick strips against the ball. Or if the ball gets kicked out of the lift rods (usually because of a pin knocks the ball out of the lift rods...very rare but happens) then the edge of the ball wheel will lightly scar the ball surface all over as the ball sits on the back of the cushion up against the ball wheel. That's a one time freak accident more or less on those 2. But when everyone's ball is getting gouged, it's a screw sticking up in the tail plank or flat gutter. Also, are those metal kickbacks? They crack and can start damaging balls when someone shoots a 10 pin and gutters. A broken ball track will leave light scratches on everyone's ball. Or a broken track underground. Light scratches on everyone. But gouge? Screw.

I like trying to spot the one pinnacle in the pinsetter

After our 48 pin strike Sunday i went to remove the pins and the Pinnacle was defiant. So I figured id leave it in and see who'd spot it 🙂🎳

Rob - are those the original cross-conveyer belts or have you replaced them - it is interesting that those belts keep moving all the time even though the pin gate stops oins as needed as the turet spins to it's next position - thinking that constant friction on the belts against the pins would tend to wear the grip factor of those belts out - thanks for any info.
@GarageBowlingAlley8 ай бұрын
That's normal. They never stop. There's no friction to do any damage to the belts or pins. The pinwheel will stop if there's 2 pins in the cross conveyor stopped though, but I was cycling it to 2nd ball each time but one I think so it was constantly feeding.
