I can only imagine that the snow can only go in one area. Or one side of the field. It’s extra work but not too much. If he blew the far side first onto area that wasn’t blown. It would likely take longer due to depth of snow

Does your 4066 is a 66hp on a 4000 series tractor ? That's a lot for a little tractor like that !

Stupid question , wouldn’t it be better to mount the skis behind the blower unit 2 inches plus or minus below the cutting edge that way the unit height will be more consistent, not relying on different kinds of snow that you were skis riding on

Maybe if it was critical that it was exactly 2”, but it’s not mission critical. Next year I plan on adding a rubber flap on the backside to hopefully brush the top of the turf off a little more.
