We get 15-20 pushes a year. Most being 2-6" pushes. 1-4 pushes in that 6-12" range. Semi wet snow for most pushes. The snow out there looks like its usually fluffy? How does it handle snow around the freezing mark? Were probably getting a 4075r. In your opinion would a 7/12 or a 8/13 make more sense at that size? The weight difference is under 100lbs between a 7/12 and 8/13.

I'd go bigger. Seems like it helps more on the smaller snows...if you have issues on the big snows, fold the wings forward to box mode, or if really bad...I've folded the wings back to plow a path, then just box mode and just keep working it. I would think the extra heavy duty front end and extra HP would handle that bigger blade just fine. Handles wet snow just fine...this isn't live edge like our sectional.

Oh this was one of those hardly 1" snows, but the North Dakota wind blew 40mph, so it was all rock hard drifts from probably 2 days of blowing. This account is usually a day or two after a storm..so it sat for a few days. Seems powdery, but its ice crystals...not 100% sure but I think it was below zero or close to it when doing this push.

I need to adopt this setup. I have the agrimaxx but not the blower. I am finding that on these architectural lots like some of the arbvys, wendys, mcdonalds locations we have been getting that there is no forethought to stacking space, when we got 21 inches in three days I ended up having to go around with a snow bucket and remove my piles between storms because there was no space. Even on my larger sites, the fact I can make a cutting pass to blow back without stacking would save me alot of trouble on my seasonal accounts. I love watching these videos man, it inspires change.

Awesome to hear. This is why i love doing this simple in cab/machine vids. Nothing to fancy and shows off the real side of things. This setup is amazing for small commercial and residential as you've seen. Yep those small lots this thing would shine. I hate piles, and every chance i get I windrow/blow, but sometimes you just gotta pile it.

Just here to tell you I saw your 4066r metal pless video at the dollar tree or whatever that was a few years ago and I ordered the exact same tractor, frame kit, metal pless, cyclone and sold one of my skid steers to cover some of the cost. I like the performance to cost ratio, I decided to eliminate two on site skid steer and push box rentals I had been doing AND I got rid of a skid steer I used exclusively for a 65 unit HOA. The travel speed with all that weight is meh but you also dont bounce like hell in a mini loader either. We intend to buy another one this year and instead of pull blower were gonna run a sami 3 point salt spreader (it can scoop and lock from the 3 point so it doesnt need something to fill it). Great stuff man, changed the way we do service.
@jacobsonbros
@jacobsonbros Жыл бұрын
Awesome! I’ve heard that a lot from people and even my salesman even said “you’ve sold a lot of these machines”. They are kick ass for sure. My reasons were the same as yours…skid was too slow. You have accumulator on the front? I just did that and it’s a world of difference.

I have basically the same tractor but orange. Debating the 6-11 with LE or the 7-12 likes yours. I don’t salt so better scraping ability is nice but won’t save me any money. The LE seems like there is way more to go wrong (but still reliable). Thoughts? My accounts seem similar to yours. Love providing the best result tho.
@jacobsonbros
@jacobsonbros Жыл бұрын
To be honest i didnt know they had live edge available for tractors this small. I know they have it for skids and larger tractors...but I thought the weight was too much for this type of underframe. It sure looks like it does a better job. I have a few gravel accounts and even my arctic sectional on my skid digs too deep...i can only imagine what a LE would do to that! Standard edge has been working just fine...although I replaced cutting edges last year (maybe it was year before) and it seems like I'm eating them up this year....however we've been out this year a ton.
