8:59 I think crop growth in Hypixel Skyblock and normal Minecraft is the same, and crop growth in Minecraft is kind of complicated. First, *water does affect the plant growth speed* Second, crops grow at half the speed when there are crops of the same species in the block surrounding it (diagonal included) unless they are planted in a row. Third, there are "scores" that will increase the chance of the crop growing. The score increases for each farmland block surrounding the crop (diagonal included), and it gives a better score if the farmland is wet. Also, the farmland that the crop is planted on gives a lot more score if it is wet rather than dry.

Sea creature chance is a decimal because of legion and the dolphin pet giving 0.05 sea creature chance per level. All other stats aren’t decimals from legion because the admins didn’t bother.

Crops don't need water in vanilla as well but it will grow back slower than if there was water. So this is kinda just a vanilla feature and not anything to do with hypixel skyblock I think.
