I love your reaction and the fact that you and your daughter can vibe to it. The boom bap is back...better yet it never left. It's good to see the caterpillars clip the wings off of the butterflies that refuse to acknowledge real hip hop and want to hijack everything that made it what it is. I’ve watched a lot of reactions to this verse that Black Thought was spitting and it’s amazing to see the difference in reactions with the young heads vs the more old school people. Us older hip hop heads listen for content while the young ones listen for cadence. So many bars flew over most young listeners heads that it is sad to watch. Henrietta Lacks verse (ALONE) is a history lesson. This freestyle is by far already legendary status in my book.

It's a great thing to see Black Thought bring the young up to speed on what MC is . Not a rapper. The art was hip hop and consisted of MC's . Somehow the term rap slipped in and everybody thought they could do it. And now they do t even talk clearly they mumble and slur and have zero content . When you find out what he said it really wasn't important . Black Thought showed why everybody can't do it . These new blouse wearing artist make it look easy . With that said I ask . What did he mean when he said "How much more CB4 can we afford" ?????????
