My aunt gave me a window cleaning tip that is so super easy. I had to share it with you! Fill a bucket up with water. Then add a drop of Dawn soap to the water. Then add a little bit of rubbing alcohol to that water as well. Take a blue sponge and wash your window with it. Then use your squeegee on the window. Then have a rag on hand to wipe down any water that is on your windowsill. When my aunt showed me how she cleaned her windows, I was in amazement. It was so super easy! No streaks on the window at all! It's way easier than just spraying your windows. What I loved about her tip was that I could get my windows in less than a half of an hour. I live in a condo so I don't have as many windows as a normal house does. Try this tip because it's the best!! :)

Putting a cup of Vinegar in your wash (after adding the detergent) will help set the colors in your clothes too. I've never purchased Color Catchers, etc. I have jeans & tops and other clothing that look brand new. Every 5-6 washing, I pour one cup of Vinegar (White & Apple Cider, doesn't matter which one you use) into the wash, and I'm amazed at how my clothes always look new. Also if you want to press creases in your sleeves or your pants, wet a clean Wash Cloth with water, pour a small amount of vinegar on the wet washcloth, and wring out. Put the washcloth (not the entire cloth, just 1/4"-1/2" of it on the crease to make the crease "STAY".....You can wash the creased clothes 2-3 times before you have to crease them again! Thanks, Catherine! Love your videos. I didn't know about the $10 fee from ThredUp! I am going to look at ThredUp because of this info you supplied!

Another tip for the flat top stove where stuff is stuck on and doesn’t come with with a regular scouring sponge: Dollar tree has that pack of straight razors that comes in those little mini black holders. Think they are in the automotive or hardware section. You can use these to gently scrap off really stuck on stuff. Just angle the razor and gently scrape off the gunk. It does not scratch the stove top. As a matter of fact, i had purchased a flat top cleaner in Lowes that came with a flat razor and some white stuff you spread on after scraping, to scour and clean. When I saw these razors in the dollar tree it was like a lightbulb went off. I spent ALOT of money on that cleaning set at lowes. Now I just use the dollar store razors and then regular dish soap to clean. What i love about them is that when they are not in use, you just reverse the blade. It has this little push lock you open and you can take it out and reverse it to keep it safe. It’s amazing. Ive used them to scrape off labels, etc etc.

Great tips as always! One of my best tips, is the dish soap brush that is typically used for cleaning dishes or pans. I use it to clean my shower and glass doors, by using blue Dawn dish soap, a few tablespoons of vinegar and a little water. It is safe and cleans to like a charm. I use one if those Dollar Tree suction hooks inside the shower, and just leave it inside, so I can scrub down real quick, before I get out of the shower. It consistently stays sparkly clean 💖 Your son is too cute with the ketchup lol 😊

Best tip ever to clean the racks from your self cleaning oven. I would clean my self cleaning oven and it looked terrible because you can’t leave the racks in. They would still be horrible. I tried steel wool and literally everything else, but the joints would still be a mess. I saw this hack in someone’s video and tried it. It worked so incredibly well and was SO easy! You run your bathtub water till it comes out really hot. Turn it off. Line the tub with a towel to protect it from scratches. Put the racks in. Fill the tub now with that hottest water. Sprinkle in a bunch of powdered dishwasher soap. I used Finish brand but probably any good brand would work the same. Leave for as long as you can. Mine took a couple of hours. Everything falls off afterwards and the racks look like new! Even the joints are spotless.

I love your videos! You make cleaning an enjoyable task. I love the steam cleaning machine for those hard to reach spots especially for the window! And we’re about to move into our newly built home that will have glass shower doors. I love that trick and how to clean your blinds! Heck, I love all your ideas!! 😀

I agrees. Her videos are always fun to watch but I like that she gets right to the point. My favorite part is that I always learn something new watching her videos. Using steam, baking soda and a sponge will remove tough stains on the stove top. Thanks for everything you do:)

Still love the spray foam window cleaner - didn’t know about the window cloth - will try! Also for soap scum in shower (may not be suitable if you have granite/stone) In a spray bottle put equal parts white vinegar and blue Dawn soap- with a nylon scrubber - **magical **....the smell isn’t pleasant but worth it!

Thanks for telling me about Thread up! Wow, I never knew shopping for clothes could be so much fun!. Everythong I have recieved has been top quality. And, so far, i have not had to send anything back. My cleaning tip, which i also got from Melissa Maker, is for your dirty filthy and disgusting work/work out cloths. I just put vinegar in the place where you would normally put liquid fabric softener. Fill the little tub up with vinegar. Run it through a regular cycle. All of the smelly yuck is all gone and you are left with sweat smelling clean clothes. I have been using this for years. No matter how dirty and smelly my husband gets his clothes working around the house or on the cars, they always come out of the wash clean and sweet smelling!
