We shop at Aldi's every week for groceries. My husband does all the shopping. He goes to three different stores to get the best prices. We have got some of the hall of shame items.

Keep an eye out for the flat mop and bucket combo. It probably won't show up again since they had them late winter but it's fantastic and half the price of the ones on Amazon!

Those washable synthetic rugs are .... hate to tell you.... filled with microplastics. Stick with natural fibers (bamboo, cotton, jute, wool, cotton etc).

I use clothespins as chip clips. Way cheaper, so you don't worry when they break or get lost.

After living in our house for 2 years I found a Rx bottle in the top cupboard shelf in our kitchen. Not sure why I didn’t see it when I put cups up there as I am tall. The name on it had to be the late husband of the lady we bought the house from. Not sure when he passed away but the was a really old Rx.

We live in a1910 farmhouse. We get mice. I keep kitchen towels and washcloths in glass containers. They can’t chew threw glass. I have foods in glass or hard plastic. It doesn’t look pretty like what you did, but it works. In my bathroom upstairs mice chewed on my lip balm. Now my lip balms are in glass containers!

Great idea. The pendant lights are the correct size. That being said, the ceiling fan is much too big for that size medallion. You would need to add more.

My DT NEVER gets any of the pretty colors of the plastic bins shown in the first part of the video. We don't even have grey. It's all ugly bright colors like lime green and orange. I probably just don't get there in time. Someone is getting there and buying all the good stuff on shipment day.

Good idea to stack a plastic box inside of the canvas, but only if they fit well with each other. Some items are a good buy, like candies and water, but not everything is worth the purchase such as their bleach which was a waste of money.

the superglue double sided tape is not very good. I used it and only held up for about a week. the Gorilla glue double sided is the best. Not very expensive and lasts forever

"I love our white kitchen but it can be hard to keep clean." I'm here to say that white is the only color you can keep clean, because all the colors hide the grime. White makes you aware of the dirt, and so you clean it when you see it.

Glorious grabbers! I have one in every room. Have difficulties getting dressed in the morning or undressed in the evening? The best universal tool is a shoehorn. it helps me a lot. Be sure to buy a metal shoehorn, the plastic ones break too easily. I live in a nook on spaceship Earth where there are no Dollar Trees. But there are similar stores. Kathryn, thanks for your inspo!
