I was at belterra casino three years ago, sat down at the buffalo game, max bet $2.50. Hit free games, picked the 8 games, higher multiplier, won $2,600. Hadn't been there a half hour. The lady came and took information, reset the machine. I took my pay slip(120 bucks was on it I think) and sat at the Timber wolf game right beside it, max bet of $5. Damn if I didn't hit free games right off the bat, won $4,300 before the lady came back with first handpay. $6,900 in total in a span of 15 minutes or so, they took the taxes out right there. Stayed for 8 hours, left with 5 grand..what a day that was and they're few and far between.

Some while back, I started with $40 free play and had 13 hand pays over the next 12 hours. When the win window closed, and I left, I had well over $6000, and, I had earned 120k + points. You earn a point for each dollar you spin thru. So, that means I spun through $120k. I don't mess around when I am in that position and making $20+ spins happens some. I, have fun. And that is the main reason I go. I can start with my $40 in free play, and not hit, but I still enjoyed doing it. And that is the key to winning big. Being, and having, fun! I'm glad you mentioned the players card and comps. My friend cruises 6 months out of the year because of that. You have to also check the rating system. For instance some places give you bonus comp points for reaching a certain plateau in a day.

Casinos have been getting cheap w their comps before COVID. My friends father was a highroller taking as much is $25,000 for a weekend in Vegas. He was handicapped. Every time he went to Vegas he would get a wheelchair. This one year probably 2017 or so his credit card was charged for it. He was pissed. They would not credit his card after spending so much money after so many years. He never went back

In the Army we had slots at the NCO Club in Nam. Those were mechanical and had character. You could hear the coins fall into the payoff bucket and feel it getting ready to pay. Now back then I did play them, but no way after they went electronic. Electronically they can do anything. But mechanical there were limits and sounds that might tilt things a bit more favorably for you. I'm way too small time for poker and really don't know a thing about sports betting.

@@DrSchor I'm not in the US and cannot bet on teams in the US. That leaves teams in Mexico , Brazil and Argentina I know nothing about and the game exclusively soccer.. Even then any winnings would need be shared with a Citizen/Resident of those countries I am not interested in sports betting any more than I am dog or horse racing. So that is out. I will stick with what has worked for over 58 years and not get into things I am also US Income Tax Exempt in %108,600 annually so no desire for any activity in the US to upset that status. I have won $200,000 on Roulette at a number of casinos, all tax free. Once in Monte Carlo 4 casinos and total of just over $800,000. Sports betting get's taxed, table games do not. It's not that I can't learn sports betting, hut that I have no interest at all in it.

My father told me that the certain percentage of payouts was actually great advertising. So it actually paid to have generous slot machines and electronic games. The patron will generally spend more, on other things, if they are having a great time. That is why most casinos in Nevada have since the 60's provided free drinks for all gamblers. Hospitality was then a big driver to please the cliental. He would tell me "the customer IS king" 👑👑👑👑👑. The motto then was "send them home winners" they will brag to all their friends. And then their friends would come in. He was right. And he always told me gambling is just another form of entertainment. Sometimes the secret to the tightness of a casino's slot machines can be found by looking at the pay table for their Jacks or Better video poker machines. If the Jacks or Better game pays 9 credits for a full house and 6 credits for a flush, this is the holy grail and probably means the slot machines are loose. If full house pays 7 credits for a full house and 5 credits for a flush, this is average to mediocre. If it's 6 credits full house 5 credits flush, run out of this casino as fast as you can.

That's my approach too. You know a machine will be giving you losing hands most of the time, so my thing is: make cheap wagers most of the time. Then, every once in a while, mix in some max bets. If your max bet coincides with one of the few winning hands the machine spits out, hey! Payday! Has worked well for me numerous times.

In theory, yes, slots probably are the worst bet in the casino statistically, BUT especially today when most BJ table limits are $25 a hand on the strip, $100 is going to last you a lot longer and have a greater chance to turn a profit on a slot betting a $1 than 4 hands of BJ at $25. And just my own experience as a BJ player and a slot player, I've had a number of years that I've done way better on slots than I have on tables.

I used to always play WITH my card and always lost my butt off!!! Stopped using my membership card and, suddenly, I started winning (almost nonstop). I was playing with my Nephew once and he was losing his butt off and sitting at the machine right next to me. He couldn't believe how GOOD I was doing!!! @@mikesimons8839 I play with my card, I get between $75 and $400 a week to play with depending on my winnings in prior months. I have not taken my own money to a casino in a very long time. I use theirs. Sometimes getting 10+ hand pays in one session. The card also allows you to write off any losses, even it is their money that you start with. The card also gets you free rooms and food. Thinking that the card has anything to do with the outcome of play is superstition at best. The key to winning is betting correctly. Betting max whenever possible. Also, we all have days we are going to win no matter what. The trick is knowing when those days are, and are not. Also, your wins are directly a result of how good we are to others, and if we are paying it forward when we do win. 10% should always go to someone else. Always. The people that earn 20k a month playing on free play usually hand it out to other players, charities, or, just random people that look like they may need it.

Yes, yes, yes. You couldn't be more correct. The main big idea behind slot players are those who do not want to acquire any skill or involve the brain or simple logic. Basically, slot players are driven by primal instinct. The brighter the lights, the fancier the appeal, the more dramatic the noise, and you've attracted the stupid slot player !!!! FYI, I tried talking to a friend who's a slot player and I was shocked about the way he makes logic. Simply, he didn't make any logic !!!!
