Back in 2016 I remember drawing my own version of a die cast Rajiv. It was a lot like the cancelled adventures version, expect I thought of a feature that would make the little gold thing on his dome spin if he moved along. I don’t know where these drawings are, but I also pitched a Take N Play Flying Scotsman and Gordon’s express coaches.

But I couldn't have been the lost and found hiro, I mean it could've been thought of, but it couldn't be the one you mentioned, because it would probably be too late for the crew to think of it! (And also, you'd just be saying the same item twice), and it can't have been the crushed hiro because that would look too similar to the lost and found one! So I personally think it might've been the snow hiro!

Fun fact, I have 4 versions of Rebecca, but 3 of them don't have their tenders! And i think i know why, in minis and my busy books, all of the tender engines before rebecca had their tenders as part of their main bodies, and given her overall design (particularly her cab) it was probably too hard for the companies to design her tender this way, so there you go!

Speaking of this sorta thing, i DEFINITELY remember seeing a flat magnet TNP Shane in a photo long before the great race released. It was with all the other models that were released and in the prototype photo format of a HD photo of the model with a while background Keep on mind this was early 2016 and I've never seen it since, but it looked EXACTLY like the adventures one (except it definitely wasn't as i remember asking my mum for all the new engines after i saw the video with their photos, i was 9 then, jesus christ and it doesn't really feel like it was that long ago!)

There definitely wasn’t going to be a Flying Scotsman in the Die-Cast range. There was going to be one in the Wood range so you might be confusing it with that.
