Back when “Thomas and Friends” merchandise was worth buying, “Take Along” was (and still is) my favorite range of the merchandising. I wish they never discontinued “Take Along”.

I remember having most "take along" sets with the slick track, also i got the adaptors and i used it as "bumpy tracks"

This sure was interesting to watch, and even more interesting that TOH/Owl House music was played twice in the video. I know that it doesn't have to do with the video itself, but since I'm a fan of the show I instantly knew it right away when I heard it.

Video idea. All the storage cases ever made for Thomas diecasts. Also a video about collectable railway thingy whatever that line was cause I don’t really know about it.

Great video! I think all of these tracks look really good, but my favorite in terms of design is the 2006 Take Along/Take N Play track! I think it looks like track the most out of all of them, and I like that you can flip the tracks around and still use them either way! They are a bit flimsy, and come apart pretty easily, but it also was the first die-cast track designs to be in silver instead of just gray so that’s why it’s my favorite! I enjoyed the video!

I rediscovered nostalgia for Thomas when I recently saw a music video for one of my favorite songs ("Wreck of the Old 97") put to an episode where James crashes. Anyhow, I had a decent collection of the V2 Take Along range. I still have it oddly enough- been trying to figure out what to do with it to get it out of storage. Not in the primest condition because my childhood self didn't care for condition, but nonetheless I enjoyed that collection.

That awkward moment when you realise new Take-Along tracks has a slightly larger curve radius than the old Take-Along curve tracks. Therefore, causing your track layout alignment off.

Say what you will about you will about the track that came with Collectible Railway, the version of it that came with the motorized engines finally gave the diecast range curve pieces that were done at a 45° angle radius as opposed to the 90° curve radius that was stuck in every other die-cast range that wasn't Trackmaster push along or Ertl.

When you were talking about the older style track of take along, at one point you kept saying track like six times.

The only good push alongs are the AEG ones.
@portablethomas Жыл бұрын
True. CGI had some good ones but AEG push alongs are good.

Yeah, at least their proportions are more even

Personally I don’t like AEG but they do have good and accurate push alongs
