I've gotten pretty close to being able to no hit Midir on my own over the many years and 1500 hours I've got in DS3, and I sometimes switch over to a lightning based character to help people fight him on the weekends. On average, I think about 10 to 15 percent of the hosts I get summoned to help actually complete the fight, lol. I feel so bad for them sometimes, Midir truly is one of the hardest boss battles in gaming history, and it's rough being summoned 6 or 7 times for the same guy and watching him slowly lose all hope as Midir just tears him to pieces over, and over, and over, and over... @@howielowis458 20 times? Jesus christ that's low. I was doing ringed city with a friend and to take him down in both of our worlds took like at least 4 hours. Maybe it's because we were 2 but this is the only boss in the game that ever felt like bullshit. His healthbar was fucking humongous and midir 2-shot me while embered. @@sciencepluspotato1294 yeah, the experience with him differs a lot between players. While he does have a huge amount of health, i found him quite managable if you only go for his head. A good trick that helped me with all boss fights ; Equip a Reaper with 1) Banish ability (fire until ammo empty) 2) Superior Repeater (15% chance to instantly kill enemy!!!) 3) Superior Extended Mag +3 shots It is possible to get a concealed Reaper close to the Bosses and unleash the banish ability. More often that not, i ended the encounter the second my Reaper used its ability. This is especially helpful with the other bosses that actually have the ability to escape (viper king n the others). Was very lucky as i managed to definitely kill all of them the first time i encountered them (they were not able to even escape once)

As a man who has challenged this dude on DW4 and DW8XL, Lu Bu is NOT a pushover. At starting matches (the famous Battle of Hulao Gate), he has A LOT of Defense, HP and damage, so if you want to take him on early, you're asking for a very swift death. DW4' weapon cap were Level 10 Weapons (certain overpowered versions of their current top-tier weapons that had to be acquired upon completing pre-requisites in their selected stage) meaning this guy was the ultimate test of skill if facing him with just a LVL 9 weapon. In DW8 and XL however, there exists 4 types of weapons. You have your Level 3, 6 and 9 weapons in addition with "Unique" weapons (stronger versions of their normal counterparts with various abilities) on top of the Level 10 Weapons (these can be gained randomly through defeating various Officers or Mobile / Unit Commanders, or if you want the best ones, you can use Fortune Hunter), but there is also a Level 11 Weapon (same principle as the Level 10s in DW4) that had exceptional strength and various high-stat Abilities. In DW8 and the XL version, every Officer has three Musous: Standard (executed by hitting 🔴) Aerial (midair and pressing 🔴) and the Unmatched Musou (🔴 with R1 triggers this action, and it deals quite a lot of damage depending on your weapon and the Officer' stats). MoTS: If you want to take out this "demon of the battlefield", you need to be heavily leveled and well equipped to even scratch his health. Otherwise, he's sending you on a one way ticket to hell.

I have to say, about Dark Dragon Midir... I've found in DS3 Some bosses have a very easy "cheese" mechanic to beat them, and Midir has this same mechanic, just not as easy as some other bosses... Just run away the whole fight... When midir does his ranged dash attack, like at the start of the battle, he will end up on top of you, but facing the other way. Attack a few times, roll and run, rinse repeat... Not as easy to do against Midir like the cursed and rotten tree (forget it's name off hand) because it will just stand up and fall prone, but it is doable. Just takes forever because Midir has so much damn health...

Everyone always sights Wizpig as one of if not the hardest race in a racing game but there was another that frustrated me much more. In the highly underrated N64 games called Snowboard Kids, specifically the second on, there is a story mode to go through which is not terribly challenging in its own right. However, once you've completed it, you can do a sort of rematch mode doing all the races again in whatever order you like mostly just to unlock new snowboards. One race however is utterly frustrating and that is the rematch with the Dinosaur. If you miss even one speed boost power up or hit the wall on any turn, you've basically lost.

Beelzebub in SMT: Nocturne. Yes the game has tons of insanely challenging bosses, but I checked and it turns out there are only 2 bosses in it who are smart enough to remove your buffs, remove debuffs you put on them, and buff themselves, and usually only if you've put more than one stack of a given buff on. That's in addition to everything else he does, such as his signature instant-kill Death Flies attack and the strongest elemental spells in the game... all of them.

I've got 2 from the same game: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning 1. The Maid of Windermere. Not only does she summon wild fae to help her fight, but you have to stay in the relative center of the room because of the snappers along the walls...which attack you but not her or her allies. 2. Tirnoch. This is the final boss of the game. She drains your Reckoning meter and spawns phantom builds of your character that you have to take down. Then you get a precious few seconds to damage her before the next batch of phantoms. I'd rather take on all of the potential bosses of the game at the same time than fight this one...

I played against a number of difficult bosses in my gaming career. I say that beating the Corrupt Thunder jaw in Horizon Zero Dawn to be difficult, if you get hit with his tail he takes more than half of your energy. After getting killed multiple time I finally beat the Thunderjaw lizard and flipped the bird to my TV screen. Another tough boss was the Nightsister Trilla in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Her movements are too quick, her attacks are random and unpredictable and she can inflict a fair amount of damage that you end up wasting your health canisters. There is a small window to make the right time to attack and you have know when to parry attacks and dodge attacks.

I completed the gauntlet of strength in Sekiro (a boss rush with at the end a stronger version of Isshin), defeated Gael, Midir and Friede in NG+7 (the hardest difficulty of Dark Souls 3), finished dark souls 1 and 2, Cuphead, beaten Sans from Undertale, but for me the hardest boss I've ever fought is the Absolute Radiance from hollow knight, without hesitation. I'm really surprised I didn't see it more often in the comments, as Isshin doesn't even come close to Absolute Radiance in term of difficulty

7. got to have a perfect boost to to beat him, which is really hard to do. 3. m. bison is extremely hard when you go full difficulty.

Geese Howard as the final boss in Art of Fighting 2. Now, I had beaten Bison, Rugal, and Geese on Fatal Fury, on arcade, But him in AOF2? That requires skills beyond my comprehension.

The Wiz Pig you used was not even the final battle. You have a second race and he is riding a rocket. And shout out for using my boy Rage Gaming for the Monster Hunter footage.

Arianrhod from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III. She can absolutely wreck you if you don't have a proper build for all of your characters. Also, even if you're set up well at least one of your characters won't have access to an S-Craft on your first playthrough, so damaging her for big amounts is harder. Also, she's incredibly fast so she's likely to get more turns in as well.
@mikelemikemike4 жыл бұрын
Nah, you want Trails to make you cry, try Lowe from Sky SC. This guy is so hard that the game made him optional, meaning you can skip the fight and carry on with the story if you can't beat him. Which might be a good idea, seeing as his ultimate attack is a TPK if you don't get invincibility up on time. Which can happen in the first round of combat if you are unlucky. Oh and Shadow clones, with less hp but all the abilities of the original. You NEED Kevin and his grail sphere for this fight.

Honestly Alatreon is actually true, at least for Tri. I haven’t played Tri but many can vouch for it being required to plan to godlike heights to take him down

Do they have to be bosses that are only 1v1? Because a good one would be Mythic Kil'jaeden in the Tomb of Sargeras in World of Warcraft Legion, even during the next expansion when you were more geared and a higher level it still turned out to be an insanely hard fight. But in it's first state it was actually impossible due to a bug. One mechanic attached to another mechanic were these orange orbs of fire that you had to dodge or they would rocket you high into the air and also do a ton of damage and you'd most likely die due to the fall. But this was bugged that you would get sent up in the air like you were hit by one of the orbs when you didn't even touch one. So your whole raid would just start getting flung into the air and fall to their deaths. Then even after it was fixed to not be bugged the first guild to kill it took 19 days alone on that boss and 653 previous wipes on the fight. Then there was Mythic Uu'nat in Crucible of Storms that took over 700 attempts to kill the first time.
