I actually learned to type with Mario Teaches Typing. It was the game that caused my parents to by a 486 megahertz processor computer and a screen in color. I also had Math Blaster, Carmen Sandiego, and a few other edutainment games.

I really wish i loved Fallout 4. I was so excited for it when it was announced, I still think them saying "Yes it exists, and you can play it in a few months" was absolutely genius, and really helped the hype I had a main save that i played the entire main store/side missions, and DLCs and i remember playing Nuka world and just thinking to myself "I'm not even having fun with this, its actually a chore for me to play" It was extremely disappointing for me. I've tried multiple playthroughs after that, but I usually lose interest after the brotherhood airship shows up. I also hated Starfield I could barely get through the first 3 planets. I still have a tiny bit of hope for ES6 but I won't be hyping it until it's in my hands

I found it to be a slog to get through. And Starfield was so boring that I was skipping dialogue at the climax of the game. That's not good. Oh and the game breaking bugs still in Fallout 4 are ridiculous. Cyberpunk 2077 was more playable at launch than Fallout 4 is 9 years later...

Fallout 4 is a mediocre game with a meaningless main story, boring Radiant Quests and a dialogue system that amounted to multiple versions of saying "yes".

I had to take a break from FO4 because my old Xbox one crashed whenever I went into downtown Boston because Bethesda’s Creation Club added too much in the background. With a new PC, I’m back in the Commonwealth.

Another one for this list is Saw for the Xbox 360. Right at the start you are asked to kill yourself to let another live. If you do not, you are locked into the bad ending of the game right then and there. It’s extremely like a Saw film. Only by sacrificing the character you play as in the opening stage can you change the path to the good ending.

Fallout 4 has good gameplay, and an interesting world to explore. If a bit depressing at times, as you'd expect from the post apocalypse. The story really needs work, though, and there's incentive to actually not finish the storyline. When you've finished the story, 1-2 factions have been wiped off the map, leaving the world a bit emptier than when you started.

In my opinion FO4 strives with its side content, DLC and MOD Support. The base game however is average in Comparison to the other Fallout titles. I also like the gun play in FO4 better than the others. However, I think that could change if Bethesda were to Remake/Remaster 3/New Vegas and maybe updating the combat in both games. Story is okay but then again when has Bethesda made a compelling story in any of their games. Boston as the setting though was one of Bethesda's better adaptations for the FO series, and in my opinion actually felt more appealing than DC/Vegas. I liked all the hidden easter eggs as well as the Side characters and content that Bethesda had added, it makes the Commonwealth feel more lived in. Nick, Piper Danse and some of the other Companions were some of my favorites in the series so far.

Fallout 4 is a good game. It's got far too much Bethesda Jank for it to be anything more than that though and masterpiece is a massive stretch.

Masterpiece? Perhaps before Bugthesda unleashed their big update 7 months ago. Now, if you install mods the game is virtually unplayable and will crash when going to a specific part of the map that is story driven.

Loved Fallout 3, hadn't played 4 yet and was at a friends house and he pushed me into trying it out to see how amazing the experience of Xbone was... Buddy proceeds to just tell me every single decision I choose from my gun used to where I am walking is wrong. I have zero interest in going back and trying again even though I stopped talking to that dude soon after.
