Summer Fjorm with Emblem Ike equipped along with Attuned Peony support is straight up stupid. She starts out with 58% DR that can’t be pierced by ranged units which then jumps up to 79% DR when you throw in Spurn 4. Finally, add in Rockslide Dance 3 from Attuned Peony and Summer Fjorm will stand at having 87% DR while reflecting all the damage she took coupled with her healing a minimum of 12 HP total after every combat. Throw in Hortensia support and now Summer Fjorm is now healing a minimum of 19 HP after every combat along with benefiting from Penalty Neutralization and all of the other debuffs Hortensia inflicts on the enemy. Base Fjorm and Ascended Fjorm can also copy this with varying degrees of success as well.

Laguz Friend also makes Fjorm's defensive specials more reliable since it adds more unpierceable dr and the special charges. If the skill is available in HoF by May then I will get it for my Fjorm no matter what.

Speaking of Combo 10, Gotoh would probably be a great recipient of Laguz Friend in tandem with Glacies.

I saw a M9nica use it in AR, killing my final run, and it really cemented for me that ANY unit that can use it, really should. Definitely going to summoning red on the May Leg/Myth banner since E!Marth is also there.

Damn I never thought about snap f!lilith but that goes kinda crazy. Global warping across the map, but also 3 movement on her and her support to cover a huge threat range

Legendary corrin seems to be a very good user of ikes engage effect. I might consider to give her laguz friend 4 for more damage reduction.

Bector needs a lot of support. As for combos, all I can think for him are AoE protection so he doesn’t die against N!Igrene, so someone like Mythic Lumera or Gotoh. There’s also D!Lyon to worry about since Bector is blue.

Why doesn't the "Laguz Friend" ability activate on my Ike, no matter which character it is? Can someone explain this to me very simply, if possible, what I have done wrong?😢😢😢

dat F!Lilith, i think work on all speedy infantry units as godsword/lance if no NFU on their own? i feel dat apply to attune caeda also?

Gosh I wanna replicate these but I have Armored Beacon on my L Edelgard and not Blaze (plus gotta get her that axe still), and for L Corrin I need to get spd smoke 4, and I need GLR for Attuned Caeda

With the release of duo Lyon, I knew this game was gonna die off way faster than before because he accelerated powercreep even faster than fallen Edelgard. Decisions like these is the reason why attuned Peony won AHR, because she can last long, basically our free unit doesn’t feel like spoiled milk compared to the meta.

I previously had w!byleth on light season and gave ike an astra blessing since they're both fairly similar roles, but after seeing how well ike pairs with both gotoh and lumera, I'm tempted to move byleth to astra and use Ike for light season. Byleth also uses them well, especially since his duo skill is usually stopped by duos hindrance, but I feel like Ike becomes actually unstoppable while byleth is great but still loses to duo sanaki... Unless I have peony neutralise debuffs which is also a benefit of light season. I dont know anymore, both units are similar and fantastic, but both would prefer light season...

Also that Framme En Guard combo is clutch, I've been playing with her to try to abuse. If at all possible can you cook something up with Ashnard? I've been using him with B!Soren as a meele wall with soaring echo to keep the evil aura for allies but idk I think it can get better.
