ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AT HOW MANY PEOPLE GO MISSING IN NATIONAL PARKS
@curiositypiqued657310 ай бұрын
It's not that surprising though....they are vast,VAST and unexplored & the size of countries by themselves

I lived and worked inside Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Mt Rainier and Bryce Canyon as a waiter. It's funny how you don't even hear about missing people or deaths very often. The NPS doesn't like attention from the media.

What is truly stunning is that these hundreds of disappearances are barely reported on or investigated by the national media. One would think that the sheer numbers of people vanishing and seemingly swallowed up would catch the eye and interest of investigative reporters. Somehow all these unexplained vanishings of human beings are treated as if it is normal. You never see any in depth reports on a national level. So strange. Thank you, Rusty. Ay least YOU are bringing attention and awareness to these tragic losses.

As a FT vanlifer who travels the country and camps in some very remote places (some of which have been featured on your videos), I always think about these folks whose mysterious disappearances you cover. I think how easy it is to vanish out here, through a variety of circumstances. My faith in Jesus Christ and the protection I keep with me brings me solace and peace of mind, but I remain troubled for all of these people. I always ask "where ARE they?". I pray they are eventually found and the families and loved ones may have the closure they so desperately need..🙏✝️

#9 Phillip Joshua Johnson, was living in Nashville TN. He was reported missing on Oct 18 and "suffering from mental issues" . It's assumed that he was driving to his home state of Montana. His vehicle was discovered in the Brule River State Forest in northern Wisconsin on Nov 2, and might've been there as early as Oct 23. What's interesting, three men were reported missing Aug, Sept, and Oct in the remote areas of Northland region of Minnesota, Phillip Johnson being one of the three.

Jesse never made it out of the meat processing plant. His truck was conveniently placed on that road in that location with his work apron to make it look like he did. There was an incident/accident that ended with him being, “ processed.” . It was much simpler to leave it a mystery ,rather than report an incident at the factory., He was a known troubled individual with many problem’s. One’s that he was unable to contain inside the work environment, thus leading to his unfortunate , “ Disappearance.” I hope this clears things up for the most part to prevent further searching for a man that just simply isn’t lost or anywhere for that matter. There’s a potagee saying, “ Lucky gone.”

I read that the department of the interior spoke person said that the disappearances of people in National State Parks is because “they go alone, and they commit suicide!” Do this person means that every single person hiking alone is suicidal??? Seriously?? Come on…..There is more than just suicide, I say there are either serial killers inside these parks waiting for their prey, or maybe the wild animals that are there…..or something more sinister going on in these parks; but just saying “suicide” is not the appropriate response. Whatever it is, it is very sad that hikers go missing to never return. Thank you Rusty for your reporting of these disappearances, it is appreciated. And I trust you 100% in your reporting. A job well done. 👍🙌
