Funny. A few days ago I was bopping through the countryside, and what did I see? A Plum Crazy '71 Challenger convertible with a white top and interior. He was just sitting at the side of the road with the top down. It had a 383 Magnum badge. I don't know what tranny it had, but I'd be happy with either in a car like that. It was gorgeous. Makes me wonder why they didn't sell all that many. Then again, maybe they did, but these things were rust-buckets, so only southern cars had a chance of not rusting out. Well, few cars will last 50 years, anyway. They've become too expensive for the average guy to get, but they're still a pleasure just to look at.

I used to know of a 70 coronet Super bee convertible, same color combo. The old guy never drove it. It just sat in the garage. When he died, his son was driving it around that summer and then I never saw it again. This was probably 2002 maybe.

My 14 Challenger R/T Classic is FC7 Plum Crazy purple. I bought it new in Orange County CALIFORNIA. It's been documented by FCA as being 1 of 36 made.

It's a symbol of racism and slavery.

It’s a random regiment battle flag of a defeated army. It wasn’t even a flag of the defeated nation. It represents nobody’s heritage, but racism and slavery. World wide. I hail from across the world and that is what it means. Here too, there. Everywhere. Having an orange charger with a pushbar makes you a badass. Having the flag, general lee callout and the numbers makes you a manchild.

Great video! A bit different than the run-of-the-mill subjects for car videos, but I found it very entertaining and well researched. That said, I have two (2) points of contention: First, although the narrator dislikes brown cars as he mentioned twice, my nephew, Chris, just purchased an "original numbers matching" 1971 Camaro Z27 (that's correct a Z27; NOT a Z28, of which ONLY 8,377 were ever produced, and ONLY for 1971) SS 350 L48 coupe, rated by me (and I am very discerning) as in the "Excellent" category (not quite the Concours category, but close) from an owner of forty-two (42) years, repainted in the OEM copper bronze metallic lacquer paint. Not everyone may be a fan of this color, but on this car, I think it looks striking with its' parchment interior! Second, at the very end of the video the narrator stated that the 1970 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda coupe was the fastest OEM stock production car of all time. WRONG! This 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda, so optioned, was very fast in the quarter-mile time as tested by Car Craft magazine in a "Showdown of 1970 Muscle Cars"; BUT if you view Car Craft's November issue, they (Car Craft) state EMPHATICALLY that the fastest OEM bone-stock production car tuned to factory specifications, is/was the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 LS6 coupe with the M22 "Rock Crusher" close-ratio Muncie 4 speed manual transmission and positraction 4.10:1 rear axle ratio, turning in a time of 13.02 seconds/107 MPH. The 1970 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda coupe was a close second, but second nonetheless!

Wait a minute. You mean MOPAR had a rainbow-colored car way before Ford came out with their virtue-signaling Raptor? 🤔
