All of these cars are lovely. The title is “most beautiful”. Of course that is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe it is my age, I think the cars from the late 50’s through the 70’s are the most appealing.

Interesting choices. I would not have included the Bugatti ‘Tank’, not exactly a beautiful car especially for the era and the company that created it. And a glaring omission in your list is the 1968 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 and/or 1969 33/3 - imho it ranks with the T70, P330 and D-type.

I think the Jaguar Silk Cut XJR9LM belongs on this list more than a few of the others, but not as just a car. I think the 330 P4 is organically more beautiful. The XJR9 lM in full paint though has more presence than most other LM cars I think. It just really jumps out of the crowd.

This is a good list and great video but rather than point out the one or two stinkers in there: McLaren F1 Ford GT40 Ferrari 330p4 BMW v12 LMR Jaguar D type Mercedes C11 Porsche 917 Jaguar XJR14 Mazda 787B Nissan R90C Would be MY list and not *necessarily* in that order. Le Mans cars have always been pretty (except for that Ferrari 250LM). You could also have the Ferrari F40LM. Porsche 962. Jag XJR 8-12

9:37 Hey Carz; you weren't specific w/ the GT40's. Plus you didn't show the Mk 4, the fastest of the 40's & the car that raced the longest distance for a 24 hr. Le Mans up to that time. The record set by Gurney/Foyt in '67 stood till '70 when the track change was made. The GT40 Mk.4 I think was the prettiest of the 40's & should be on this list instead of showing the Mk.2's & the Gulf 40's. Otherwise I agree w/ your list.

Nope! Disagree. The 312 & 512's were more 'winged cars', not the curvaceous sex appeal of the P4's w/ just the little 'duck-tail at the rear. They were pretty cars as race cars go but the P4 topped them.

The GT40 was fast, but certainly not pretty. Nor was the 917 or the Porsche "Moby Dick". Fast, yes, but buttugly. What about the Porsche 904? Won several class victories in '64 and '65. Also, the Porsche 906, which came in 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th behind the 1-2-3 of Ford. And that was with a 121 cubic inch engine, normally aspirated. Outlasted all the Ferraris. Your lust is okay as far as speed, but beauty? Nope. That Bugatti looks like cowflop.

The GT40 may not have been 'pretty,' but it was certainly 'handsome!' one of my favorite things about American Race cars of that era was that they were graceful, aerodynamic, and pleasing to look at, but always had a masculine aura. The Cobras, especially the Daytona's, are nice looking but Ferocious as well. Ferraris and early Jags are (to me) the sweetest, but old "Uncle Sugar" could really throw down as well!
