Pannonhalma deserved better than tenth place. Fourth or fifth, minimum. And when showing the Balaton, you should not have missed Tihany peninsula!!! Bonus items that I would add to the list: Sárospatak in the east, with its quaint castle; and the breathtaking Danube bend north of Budapest.

The order is not based on ranking. Relax

Eger is a gem in Hungary, offering a perfect mix of history, charm, and relaxation. Stunning Baroque streets, impressive castle where locals once defended against the Ottomans, plenty of thermal baths (also historical like turkish bath), and delicious local wines. Video is showing old pictures of bulidings, Basilica has been just renovated and looking awsome together with the University square. Definetly top choice after Bp!

Fisherman’s Bastion is beautiful apart from that ghastly Hilton Hotel parked in the middle of it

Actually I like the Hilton hotel there. A breath of fresh air with its '60s lines that manage to echo and respect its venerable surroundings. Even the way they incorporated the ruins of the old monastery into its inner courtyard. (Today that part would probably be done much better, but hey, 1960s!...)

It's not a multi cultural city! It's a Hungarian City. It has a multi cultural history but in essence, it is Hungarian, a European city. The Ottomans only went there because of the Byzantine Empire they overthrew.

Interesting but still too many roof top shots. Would like to see the interior of some buildings. Also, Budapest is made up of 2 cities. Buda on one side of the river & Pest on the other.
