Funny thing with the vampires of True blood all of them seem to have brutal deaths. Not just Bill's.

I absolutely loved how you referred to the written deaths from the Vampire Chronicles. The movies really toned them down. Thank you

Damon used telepathy, which all vampires have but hardly use in VDverse, to ease her death more peacefully. Kai returns in VD's spinoff Legacies, he losses his head again, but this time its from Alaric with a sword. I do wish they made sequals to Dracula Untold. I love that movie.

I just watched Queen of the Damned again recently (RIP Aaliyah, who was stunning in that role) the Akasha death scene was very satisfying.

Just a shame we went from the performance Tom Cruise delivered as Lestat to what Stuart Townsend brought to the role

I thought the depiction of the first elder Frost killed with the sunlight looked pretty brutal with this skin peeling away and all, right after Frost yanked his fangs.

#1 Hammer’s first “Dracula”. One moment he’s at the top of his game and then a quick surprise leap onto some curtains later by his almost victim and BOOM he’s being forced into the sunlight one agonizing limb at a time.

.... and now I am reminded I need to re-watch True Blood. I loved that show when it aired originally. I don't know is with Lost Boys however out of a lot of vampire movies that one didn't really do anything for me and I've had a fascination with vampires since I was teen.

Technically not a vampire death but Klaus’ hybrid massacre has to be in the conversation.

One of mine would be from the Lost Boys when one of the guys fell into the tub full of holy water. He fell apart and blood started shooting out of all of the faucets in the house. I think that was worse than the one in this list from that movie.

Man the whole hep V thing was so lame. In the first season within the first 4 episodes hep V is mentioned as being a thing in that universe but it only causes vampires to be weakened for a month or so, it was said in the show by Bill himself that it is not fatal.

That was Hep D. Hep V was bio engineered from Hep D.

Fact about Dracula Untold; He didn't die. For everyone who didn't watch the movie yet: spoiler alert. He died by saving his son, but later at the end some follower of him, gave him blood so he resurrected Dracula/Vlad Tepes and later he became the lover of Mina Murray as we all know him to this day. So if you die, and came back, it doesn't count right? (One of my favourite movies)
