Sterling and (kane to an extent he always throw himself down at the slightest touch) always does this though, he is generally very unsportsmanlike. as a Dane i will say this however Kyle Walker and Saka deserved the win though because they were fire that day. Walker single handedly stopped our entire offensive play by getting in the way of our target man every time, top class performance, and well saka is saka he was fast on the ball made some good dribbles and gave stirling 2 colossal oppertunities that he should have scored. Like lets be honest England was better that day but these two people were at the root of it, however England was not very efficient and so we almost punished you for it if not for that unlucky own goal. which if i remember correctly was put into the box by Saka. and then later ofcourse that disgusting penalty. had we lost in shoot outs or by a ordinary goal i would have been completely fine with loosing to an arguably much better side. I don't know about today's rules, but I saw that game. As a goalkeeper myself at that time, i can tell you that goalies had the right to guard. Jumping with a knee or even pegs up or punching for the ball was legal tackle, even if you connected with an opponent. In the box, you had to back off when the goalie came. Ot was the only way to protect us. The german (one of the greatest ever goalies in my opinion btw just for full disclosure) went for the ball but missed. You may think i am biased, but the rules did allow that. It was not a referee error. If not for that rule, hundreds of keepers would have been injured or worse over the years.

The worst part is, the first one with Denmark where England got a penalty... Kasper was blinded with a lazer on top of it, and they had already informed the ref before hand that someone was trying to blind him with a green lazer... England also had most of their main event matches on homefield advantage compared to other countries. not to mention, that English fans had forced themself in betwen the Danish ones and harrased them by spitting on them as well. and dont forget, the disrespect of booing during a national anthem. Overall... Very poor performance from England and their fans, and they should have been disqualified had it been any other country with all thos bad behaviors they would have been. Edited: Oh ya, and all UEFA did was give them a small slap on the wrist like "shame on you, heres a peanut fine, that wont even compare to the amount of money you guys made on it".

Literally everything you just said was a lie. That’s impressive commitment to being a liar. You’re disagreeing with Schmeichel himself; he was completely unaware of any laser. I’d love to see you try and balance a laser in someone’s eye across a field. And no, it’s not illegal or blinding, the law is for helicopters. Goalkeepers are not operating helicopters, so unless it’s a military grade laser it would be no different to the floodlights that blind you. Most of all, if England are disqualified, Italy shouldn’t be allowed in the champions league, considering Italians went to England and almost killed a father with his child in a brutal attack, Sean Cox. They only served 3 years, while Sean Cox is permanently disabled, and lost all ability to operate due to such brain damage. Yet people cry about Twitter trolls and a crying German girl… nice priorities guys 👍

"FIFA Standard Soccer Field Length: 100 Yards to 130 Yards Width (Goal Line) 50 Yards to 100 Yards" And you had a comment about everything else, but no the fact how english fans had forced them in betwen the danish ones and started harrasing them an throwing things at them. Well as a Reading fan, there was a game that I remember from December 2020. It was Sheffield Wednesday vs Reading. Sheffield Wednesday scored early on, then Reading scored not too long after in the first half. Then Wednesday got a red card. But the controversial part was when we had I believe 5 penalty shouts, all of which seemed like definite penalties. How many were actually given as a penalty? None. The game finished 1-1, and it's still the most frustrating game I've ever watched as a Reading fan, and there have been a lot. Link to the highlights of the game is here, even the commentators were saying they look like pens. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp67iJeMfdmYpsU

Some of these included clips where the refs basically had to guess the right decision, due to lack of consistent technology to determine this. Undeserved hate towards some referees.
@Jaminho3973 жыл бұрын
I see your point, but take the Henry handball for example. Why would the Irish players start running at the ref and claiming a handball? If Henry hadn't handled it they just would've sat there defeated. These refs need to realise these players don't do this stuff for no reason
@ningmansjuhh_83583 жыл бұрын
@@Jaminho397 If they were to accept that kind of behaviour as evidence, each team would do so with rvery time they concede an important goal.. There's also been countless other mass appeals by players for a handball while it was not (See Llorente's goal against city in 2018/2019 UCL), so that would always be a gamble.
@nelsonroy41572 жыл бұрын
@@Jaminho397 That is absolutely untrue. As a referee and a player, the team that conceded regularly complains about something to justify being scored on. Whether they believe there was an alleged foul, handball, offside, etc. Referees can only call what they saw, not what the players might have seen.

@nelsonroy41572 жыл бұрын
Winners don't complain as much cause it doesn't matter to them. But if both teams were equally victims of poor refereeing, obviously the losers will suggest it's a robbery while ignoring their own foul play and advantages. Chelsea should have received 3 red cards during that tie, not one was given.

I mind watching that Chelsea game & Drogba heavy restrained himself, the amount of stonewall penalties he shoulda got? It seemed every time he got in box he looked like scoring & one of them would flatten him, imo its the most obvious match were the ref was on opponents side, & I've watched refs v Celtic ( ie Johnny Doyle once got sent off, straight red, cause he crossed the ball in the middle & it hit the ref, ) oh & it was 0.0 with Ireland & France when he handballed it but closing in on penalties Ireland were heavy favourites to win on pens with the great penalty saver in goal " packie Bonner, which made the Irish even more pissed, my family are from there & I detest him to this day for that, Irish fans are the sort, like Scotland fans ( not Englands) are a huge assett to any tournament as the passion is party mode ,win,lose or draw, even after Henry did thet we ended up I'm molly malonrs,heavy partying, wonderful people the Irish who follow their country,

"It changed football and introduced goal line technology....two years later it was introduced". Yep. That sounds about right. Weirdly it's still shit. You can be a hair offside and it will be called but you can kick a player (I'm looking at you Ronaldo!) and nothing happens other than a yellow. Refereeing and VAR are fantastically arbitrary.
